Indi gagged mentally as they turned up to Midsummers and saw all the Kooks acting like everything was alright. People were literally struggling on her side of the island and they were here celebrating Summer?

Indi searched the place for Pope, because she knew he would be here and help out his father. She was desperately trying to find the other Pogue that was here somewhere. She didn't remember why she agreed to come to Midsummers with Kie in the first place. 

"I found Pope." Kie stated as she pointed to their friend that was working at the grill further away. 

They made their way over to him and exchanged a look with each other telling the other that they would fuck around with him.

"Excuse me sir. Do we have to shuck these ourselves?" Kie said in an English accent.

"Cause it might mess up my costume." Indi added also with an English accent and smiled as she saw Pope turn around annoyed.

He chuckled once he saw that it was Kie and Indiana and not some stuck up Kook and pulled them into a hug.

"We wouldn't want that now, would we?" He joked back at them. "That accent was bad." He told them.

"Like you could have done any better." Indi smiled at him and they turned back to look at the Kooks.

"You ever seen this many Kooks in one place?" Kie asked them.

"Yeah. Last year." Pope replied.

"We're in the lion's den." Kie said.

"Exactly." Indi and Pope said at the same time. 

"Hey Indi, have you heard from JJ?" Pope turned to her.

"No." She told him. She was worried that she still hadn't seen him but on the other hand, there wouldn't have been a chance to have seen him as she had spent the whole day at Kie's.

"He'll be all right. He's got the survival instincts of a cockroach." Kie tried to cheer them both up as she saw the pouting face Indi had made at the mention of JJ.

"It's all my fault." Pope told them.

"Uh- You didn't do this, Pope. Topper almost killed you. Remember?" Kie said. Indi wasn't in the mood to tell her what had really happened that day and who sunk the boat in reality. 

The Kooks started cheering and clapping their hands so Indi turned her head to look at the entrance. The Camerons walked in with Ward and Rose in the front and Sarah, Rafe and Wheezie following them.

"Here come Lord Capital and the Exploiters." Kie said.

"She's definitely gonna poke somebody's eye out with that." Indi said as she saw what Rose was wearing on her head. 

Kie's parents had come over to them and taken Kiara with them because they wanted to introduce her to some important people.

"Do you need any help?" Indi asked Pope as she now had been left alone by Kie and genuinely wanted to help so she would have anything to do.

"No, you should try to have some fun. We don't get the chance to be a Kook everyday." He jokingly said. 

"Are you sure?" 

"100 percent. And besides you really don't want to ruin that dress." He pointed at her dress. "And just under us, JJ would go crazy if he would see you in this." 

She smiled at him and waved as she went to the bar to get herself something to drink. After she had downed her drink she decided to go to the bathroom to pass some time and because she didn't have anybody to talk to either way.
