He didn't need to be told. She'd sent a single text; "i'll be there in 5," and he was already out the door, standing at the front of his house, waiting for her car to pull up. She barely made it out of the car before he scooped her into his arms, resting his head on her chest as she laughed. He set her down on the ground and walked to the trunk, pulling out her suitcase. He placed it on the ground, grinning, "I missed you."

"I missed you too, B," she said as they walked together, her pet name for him rolling naturally off of her tongue.

He heaved the doors open, pushing himself and the luggage through, "How was the flight?"

"It didn't feel as long as it should have," she said, walking through the doorway and into the familiarity of sway, "thank you. I feel like it should have been so much longer... and the flight attendants were so good."

It didn't take the others long to notice her presence. Whether it was watching Bryce's mood change just minutes before, or listening to the loud eruption of laughter from the two of them, each of the boys welcomed Addison. They were glad; pleased to have a happy and peaceful Bryce in the house.

Addison
They all gave me side hugs, muttering their hellos and thank yous, and I took it upon myself to find both Anthony and Griffin respectively.

I looked over to Bryce, who had the greatest smile on his face, "I'll be back in a minute, okay?"

He nodded, as I placed my hand on his knee, "Okay."

As Anthony returned to making coffee in the kitchen, I grabbed a glass for water. "Hey," I said, and he turned to face me, "I just want to thank you for making my Voni happy. She said some things to me last night and I know that she wouldn't have made it through the quarantine sane if it weren't for you. Also, I know you've, you know, done it. I think everyone in the Hype House knows," she said, as he turned a shade of bright red, "Anyways, I was just going to say, I have faith in you and Voni. You're the best people I know and if you lose faith in each other and your relationship, I don't know what will happen to everyone else. They look up to you. You're so adorable together. So please don't give up."

Anthony looked her straight in the eye, "Don't worry, I'm asking her to marry me as soon as she's 18," he said confidently.

"I know you will," I said, before skipping out to find Griffin.

My talk with Griffin wasn't so civilised. He was in the gym pressing weights when I found him, "Hey, can we talk?"

He sighed, dropping his weights to the ground and sitting up, "sure."

"What's with you and Dix?"

"What about us?" he questioned, looking down at your hands.

"What are you? Best Friends? Talking? Dating?" I questioned.

"Why do you care?"

"She's my best friend, Griffin, I care about her."

He sighed again, "Fine. we're just talking at the moment. But as soon as we hang out together, I'm asking her out."

"Good, because she really, really likes you. She wouldn't stop talking about you at our girls sleepover last night."

"Oh, you're giving me permission, are you?"

I leant down to his level, staring him in his eyes, "Sure. Just don't fuck it up and break her heart," and with that I walked towards the door. I stopped and turned back towards him, "Or I will kill you."

Hours later, Bryce and I lay together on his bed, watching a movie. It had been months since we last did this together, and even then, it was back in January when we were "dating." We were laying quite separated, an unspoken agreement between us had somehow occurred, and we were fighting against the magnetism that had always pulled us together.
