So hi. This is my first time really writing so if anyone actually reads this, don't expect it to be great.
Don't expect regular updates either, I wrote the start on a whim and may get stuck in the story sometimes
Here's a few important things you need to know for the story:
Mario, Brandon, and Jakey are brothers and Princes of the sea.
And:
Promises and promised.
They're basically the Mers version of soulmates. A Promise bond is formed when promised ones meet the first time, and will leave matching marks on their bodies usually as big as a handprint, but for some they are much bigger. Scientists and philosophers have speculated that larger promise mark mean a greater love story. These marks will never fade, and react differently if something is happening to a promised, if they are in pain it will burn, if they are happy, it will glow etc. The reactions will be dulled if the distance is too great.
Also the king is a horrible person, and that's why I didn't give him a name. If anyone has a suggestion please tell me.
Also I don't have a great name for this story so if someone thinks of something please tell me.
