Ok. Ok. This one is also short. But I was really impatient to write the next one.

So I'm sorry.

Oh also, there's a swear word in this chapter

David's POV

I groaned as I woke up. I turned to Lucas, who was rubbing his head.

"You ok bro?" I asked. He jumped when he heard me.

"Yeah. Just... ugh my head hates me so much right now." He whined, rubbing his head.

"Yeah... I kinda got a headache too..." I said.

I actually felt pretty great, asides from the headache.

No nightmares, no dreams. No ominous visions. Just peaceful sleep. That's a first.

It's because you've never fully exhausted your mental power before. Your brain allowed itself to actually rest for possibly the first time. Because it's the first time it actually needed it.

I jumped, hearing Mario in my head. I might never get use to that. Especially since I would probably never see him again once he fully healed.

Shut up.

I smiled, turning towards the door. I stopped when I heard Lucas gasp.

"Something wrong?" I turned back.

"Since when do you have a tattoo on your back?"

"What? I don't. I don't have any tattoos. Mom never let us. You know this." I said reaching to touch my back.

"Yeah I know, but... you have a tattoo on your back." He reached out and poked right between my shoulder plates.

"What's it look like?" I asked.

"What's it look like?" I asked

"It's uh.. kinda like a flower? Or maybe a sun. It's kinda like a mix of them honestly.

"Huh. That's weird. But I'm still not wearing a shirt."

"Really?" He looked at me exasperated.

I grinned at my little brother. "If the crew want to question it, then they can question me. And get some extra work." I ruffled his hair and stepped out.

A few of the crew glanced oddly at my new tattoo, but they knew better to question it. Lucas joined me on the upper deck and moved to the wheel.

"Ok, the islands are really close. We should get there by the end of the day. See? You can kinda see them." He pointed over east.
