Betty's POV

I woke up to the screeching sound of my alarm. Groaning, I roll over to see what time it is. I pick up my phone to stop the alarm and look at the time. 7:09 am. It's too early to deal with anyone's shit.

I sit my phone back down on my nightstand. I decide I would sleep a little longer, since I did go to bed at 4:00 o'clock in the morning. But of course, my phone dings.

I groan but roll over anyway to see who texted me. I pick my phone up and see it's from Toni.

Toni:
Get up bitch your going to school today

Me:
You're*

Toni:
Shut up

I set my phone back down on my nightstand. I think for a moment, I probably should go to school today. It's would make Toni happy, so there's that.

I stretch for a moment before I flip the covers back and swing my legs out of the bed. I make my way to the bathroom and then slowly close the door behind me.

Once I'm done in the bathroom, I go to the kitchen to get some water. I then head back to my bedroom to get ready for the day. Do my hair, brush my teeth, deodorant, and put on the fit.

Once I finish getting ready, I walk back over to my nightstand and pick my phone up to check the time. 7:50. And school starts at 8:00. Even though it only takes me about ten minutes to get to school, I will probably still be late.

But fashionably.

I take my phone with me and head to my kitchen to put my empty glass in the sink. I look over at my counter and see the eviction notice I got yesterday. I sigh and look away. There's no way I'm going to be able to pay this by Friday. I mean, I'm an unemployed, 16-year-old, gang leader.

I walk over to the coat hanger by the front door and slip my serpent jacket on. I put my phone and my switchblade in the pockets. The two necessities for school.

I then grab my keys and make my way outside to my bike. I swing my legs over then start it. I rev the engine a couple times before I speed off to school.

The streets don't seem to be busy today, so I probably won't be that late.

I eventually arrive at the hellhole itself: Southside High.

I drive into the parking lot and park my bike in one of the spaces. I turn it off and swing my legs over it.

I pull my phone out to check what time it is, and..

It's 7:59.

Oh, thank God.

If I was late, Toni might actually murder me. She's already going to be mad. I didn't bring my backpack, or money for lunch, I just brought me, myself, and I.

I make my way inside, passing some teen Serpents, some crusty Ghoulies. I make my way to my class, cause when I walked in, the bell was already ringing.

(A/N: I just wanna put this out there that I've gone to a private school my whole life, so if this is wrong, I'm sorry public schoolers)
