𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐓𝐰𝐨: 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭

Betty's POV

It's been about an hour since I got in that car outside of the school, and we've finally arrived at some building. The man parks it in the small parking lot, and gets out. I do to open the door, but before I can, he's already opened it for me.

"Thank you," I say, stepping out of the car. I grab my bag and throw it over my shoulder. The man starts to walk towards the building so I follow him.

Once the man gets to the door, he holds it open for me to walk inside. I comply, walking into the building. I look around and see that there's a small waiting room. I look around again to see what the man would do. He kinda just stood there. I didn't know what to do, so I just took a seat.

The only thing that I know is that I'm in Greendale, the town on the other side of Sweetwater River.

I soon hear another car pull up outside. After a couple of minutes, I see Principal Weatherbee, Mrs. Burble, and and woman I don't know walk into the waiting room.

"Hello, Betty," Mrs. Burble greeted as she took a seat in-front of me. "Are you okay?"

"No, but none of this can be legal," I sigh in disbelief.

"Betty, all of this is legal, and in your best interest," Principal Weatherbee butts in.

"Butt out, closet monster!" I yell at him.

"Betty, we have a couple of major questions," the woman I don't know says.

"Okay..." I breathe.

"First: who do you want to be left in charge of the Serpents? They are your decision."

"Um," I chuckle. "I don't know. Jones, maybe. He's had... experience and all."

"Okay. Second: would you be more comfortable with a female or male therapist?"

"Therapist?! What?! No!"

"Betty, Mrs. Burble thinks that it would help you."

"I don't need help!"

"Betty, please."

"I-" i sigh. "Fine! Female, I guess."

"Okay. Well, let me introduce myself. I'm Mrs. Fiest, your caseworker. I have a couple of potential foster families already. It's just the process of meeting them now."

"For me?"

"Yes. Well, your psychiatrist should be ready to see you."

"A psychiatrist?!"

"Yes, Ms. Cooper," Principal Weatherbee butts in, again.

"Seriously, do you ever shut the fuck up?!"

"Ms. Cooper?" a lady came out from the back door and calls.

"That's me..." I say standing up.

"Okay," she breathes quietly. "Come with me," she tells me, holding the door open.
