𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐓𝐰𝐨: 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞

Betty's POV

After a while, Betty started to get better. She can only give credit to her therapist, though. She finally opened up to her and Betty felt amazing.

She was finally okay with Fangs. She would even say her and Kevin were friends. Her and Toni started to spend more and more time together. Also, her and sweetpea have been spending more time together. She finally felt like they could be their iconic friend group again.

The only thing was jughead.

While they have grown closer and Betty was starting to thirst him more, but it seemed to be only a friendship.

Betty couldn't deny that she saw him differently, she just couldn't. Even though she wanted to be with him more than anything, something was holding her back. Even though this had happened almost 6 months ago, she still had something holding her back.

Her and jughead were spending almost every second of every minute together though. They were always with each other. Their friend group had expanded from 4 people to 11 people. It used to just be Toni, Betty, fangs, and sweets. But now it was all of those people but jughead, Veronica, Cheryl, Archie, Josie, Kevin, and Reggie.

I know, Reggie.

He was actually pretty nice. Sure, he was still a dick, but he was a dick they put up with.

And that's what they were doing right now, hanging out in their friend group of 11 people.

They were hanging out at the retro arcade that's across the street from Pop's. Betty, jughead, Toni, and Sweets were playing Mario Cart right now. While Ronnie, Cheryl, Kevin, and Josie were playing PAC-MAN. Reggie and Archie were playing pinball. And fangs was just chilling.

After they were done there, they went to Pop's. This became a nightly ritual. They went there as many nights of the week as they could. They took up two booths so Pop put two together just for them.

Betty's POV

"Cheryl, you kissed Archie?!" Jughead asks.

"I was closeted and scared, you hobo."

"And let me get this straight," I started, "haha, straight. Anyway, Kevin you kissed Archie?"

"Yep."

"And Josie kissed Archie? And Ronnie kissed Archie? And you fucked your teacher?"

"Yeah, not my proudest moment," Archie says.

"Who hasn't kissed their best friend?" Reggie asks.

Sweetpea, Josie, And Kevin raises their hands.

"Wait, you and Toni?!" Jughead asks me.

"Um, we were curious, okay?"

"And just when I thought I couldn't get any more jealous of bitchy cooper," Cheryl says.

"Jealous much, cousin?" I smirk.

She rolls her eyes. "I'm sorry, guys, but I gotta head home," Cheryl says.

"Yeah, and I'm walking her home," Toni says.

"And I'm walking with them," Reggie says.

"Yeah, and Josie and I are having a sleepover. You coming, Betty?" Veronica asks.

"Not tonight, I have a lot of work to do. Maybe next time."

"Yeah, and Red and I are staying at his place," sweets says.

"And I'm staying at Kevin's," fangs chimes in.

"Okay, that just leaves and jones," I say, I look at Jones and  we basically agree non-verbally, "yeah, we're gonna hang out."

"Alright, it's all together then! See you guys later,@ Ronnie says hopping out of the booth.

They all one by one leave and then it's just me and Jones.

It's for some reason awkward. We've been spending so much time together but for some reason, right now it feels weird.

"Well, you wanna head to my place?" He asks.

"Actually, I was kinda wanting to go to the Wyrm. We could hang in the basement like old times."

He smiles. "Yeah, sounds great."

We're now hanging out in the basement, us laying on the air mattress, snuggled up together. I'm reading him a book and  rubbing his hair. He looks so peaceful. I can't stop looking at him. I suddenly get the urge to kiss him, but i need to think this time.

He actually fell asleep so i stop reading and put the book down. Okay, think, betty.

It's been almost 6 months since he cheated. I have no hate towards hate anymore. But do I feel love again? I think I do.

I love him. I'm in love again.

I chuckle before moving into a straddling position on him. He wakes up and looks at me tired. "Betts? Are you okay?"

I grab his cheeks and look at him happily. I then pull him in and press his lips against mine. He hesitantly kissed back.

I was planning on it being a very small, quick, love-filled kiss, but, of course, it turned passionate.

He moves me so that I'm under him and to his surprise, I let him. We continue making out, only taking break to remove clothes.

One thing leads to another, and, well, I guess you can guess what happened next.

We were so touch deprived and you could tell. We didn't just have one round, it was multiple. We just couldn't keep our hands off each other. We've been craving each other.

Right now we're just making out again. I suddenly pull him away and look into his eyes.

"I love you, Jones."
