Betty's POV

It's been about 3 weeks since I moved in with my foster family. Mrs. Fiest said that I would have been put into a more permanent home by now, but that obviously hasn't happened yet. I also haven't talked to anyone in Riverdale since I moved. Not anyone at school, or the Wyrm, anyone.

I have started school, though: Greendale High! Note my sarcasm. It's definitely no Riverdale High, but it's nothing like Southside High, so that's good.

I do miss my friends, though. I still don't think what Mrs. Burble and Principal Weatherbee did was legal, but there's not a whole lot I can do about that. Although I have made some "friends", they'll never be like the ones back in Riverdale.

Today's been a day just like every other one has been for the past 3 weeks: I wake up to yelling, then Karen, my foster mom, storms into my room to wake me up for school, I quickly get dressed, then make my way to school, where my day really starts going downhill.

I'm in my math class right now, just patiently waiting for the bell to ring. "Yo, Cooper!" Chandler, this stupid fucker in my class calls out to me. "Were you born with that mouth, or is it something Southside mothers teach their bastard babies?"

I turn around in my chair to face him. "I'm over here minding my own business, and haven't said a word. Don't know why you can't mind yours," I say as I turn back around.

He doesn't say anything else, just rolls his eyes and goes back to annoying some other kid.

"Will Ms. Cooper report to the principal's office. Will Ms. Cooper report to the principal's office," the principal calls over the intercom.

All eyes turn to me as I get up from my seat. I grab my backpack and make my way to the principal's office.

(A/N: ngl as a private schooler I'm very confused. Is there a front desk cause that's what I'm wanting to write but I don't think that's correct so I'm writing Principal's office 😅🤷‍♀️)

I walk down the hall and to the principal's office. I get there and open the door, as I'm walking in, I see that at the desk that sit in-front of the actual principal's office is my three best friends in the world: Toni, Sweets, and Fangs!

"Oh, my God! Fuck, yeah!" I yell running up to them. I quickly embrace them all at once with us all chuckling. "Oh, my God! My bitches are here. What the fuck?! I thought you guys weren't allowed to come?"

"We're not, but we don't give a shit, so..." Toni says, wrapping her arms around me once more.

"We were wondering..." Fangs starts as he pulls us out of the room and down the hall slightly. "If you'd maybe wanna skip and go get some Pop's?"

"Hell, yes! I'd love to, but don't you think it'd be awkward since I never went to my first day there? Or maybe someone would see us there together and-"

"Hey, girl, it's okay. We don't have to. Why are you so anxious today?" Toni asks.

"Oh, um... I'm not. Just excited and nervous, I guess," I lie. They seem to shrug it off so I guess it's fine.

I'm not ready to tell them about my diagnosis, especially cause I don't think it's correct. It's been too early! Dr. Carver can't tell yet, no way! BPD and GAD my ass.
