Betty's POV

I wake up to the feeling of someone turning over next to me. I quickly realize that it's Jones. I smirk thinking about what we did last night.

I very lazily turn around to see him facing me,  breathing heavy, with messy hair. I smile before I gently run my fingers through his hair, trying to gently wake him up.

After a minute of doing this, he still isn't awake, so I decide to take a more... aggressive route.

I shove him on to his back. "Wake up, bitch!"

He jumps up slightly. "Why are you like this?" He asks, hands on his face, lying back down.

"Oh, well you didn't seem to mind last night..." I tease.

"Neither did you," he laughs.

I hate to say this, but a little part of me wishes it didn't happen. I think I might have made the wrong decision. I definitely enjoyed last night, but I don't think I can keep up this "friends with benefits" thing.

I kinda just want to be friends.

"You should play with my hair some more," he smirks. "I really enjoyed it."

"You were awake this whole time?!"

"Yeah, you were just so... into it. I didn't want to stop you," he smiles.

"Suck my dick."

"No, you."

"Ugh," I groan as I flip over, my back facing him.

"I hate to do this to you, but I think I'm gonna go ahead and sneak out, so I can get ready. I'll come back by once I'm done though," he says getting up from the bed and putting his clothes back on.

"Okay," I murmur.

I know Jones said he was gonna come back by the bar later, but I had something I needed to take care of.

I drove my bike to the Northside, I pulled into Pop's, went inside and...

"Hey, Pop! I was wondering if you were still hiring?"

"Oh, Betty, hi! Yes, we are. Are you interested?"

"Um, yeah. I was... evicted from my trailer, and I need a job. I'm not telling you this to bribe you or anything..."

"No, no. Of course not. I know you, Betty. I knew your family. They may be gone, and the other Northsiders may not trust you, but I do," he smiles.

"If you really need a job to get yourself back on your feet, I would be more than happy to help. How's Monday sound?"

"Monday?" I ask confused.

"For your first day?"

I just smile and give Pop and hug. "Thank you, Pop!" I laugh like a giddy school girl.

"You want your usual?" He asks me.

"Sounds great," I smile as he walks behind the counter to start making it.
