Betty's POV

I woke up to the feeling of someone shaking me. I realize that they're trying to get me awake, but I'm too tired.

"Stop," I groan, turning on my other side.

"Betts, come on. You gotta get ready," Jughead insisted.

"How about you go fuck a cactus?"

"How about you get up?" he says, dragging me off the couch and onto the floor.

"Jones!" I exclaim.

"C'mon!"

Groaning, I get up and walk to his bathroom. I close the door behind me. Once I'm done in there, I go to the kitchen to get some water.

"You never said good morning," he reminds me from the doorway of his bedroom door. I turn around to find him dressed.

"Good morning," I smile.

"Y'know, for, as you like to put it, friends with benefits, we sure do act like a couple," he says walking into the kitchen.

"A couple of besties," I whisper to myself. "Hey, can I go ahead and get dressed?" I ask, walking towards his room where my bag is.

"Of course you can. Why do you need my permission?"

"I don't know. I'm just that kind of person," I shrug.

I make my way into his bedroom and start to get dressed. I first put on a bra, I then put on some black shorts. "Fuck," I murmur to myself.

I was trying to close the button, but they're a little snug. "Well, like my mom used to say: the more fat you have on your body, the harder you are to kidnap. I live by that," I smile.

Once the button finally closed, they fit fine, I guess. I slip on a red lace top that has a zipper in the front. Not something I would usually wear, but I thought it was cute.

I slip on some knee-high, red, fishnet stocking things, then my white Dr. Martens.

I finally put my Serpent jacket on. I throw my hair into a quick half-up half-down thing with a hair tie while walking out to the kitchen. Jughead turns around and seems to choke a bit on his coffee. "Wow," he breathes.

"Keep it in your pants, Jones."

I grab my phone and my switchblade. "Y'know, you should probably take your backpack, and maybe some money. Doesn't make the best first impression if you don't even have your textbooks."

I roll my eyes and grab my backpack. "I have money in the bag."

He nods and he grabs his bag. "Ready?"

"Yep."

And with that, we walk out of the door and ride to Riverdale High.

Toni texted me to meet her in the parking lot before we head inside. As we pull in, I see her standing next to the boys who are arguing.
