"It has been nearly six months since Cynthia Black and her newborn son, Lucio Williams, have been missing from the hospital. The police haven't had a clue about whether she was kidnapped or escaped on her own. Footage of her last days in the hospital consisted of constant family visits and her sleeping. They have begun to suspect her husband, Daniel Black."

"It isn't a coincidence that this Cynthia Black may very well be Lily Dale who was kidnapped from her home near New York. Just outside the state border. There are a lot of crazy people out there who do scary things."

"Like Joshua Dale. The police have been after him for years. There was an assault report filed against him before Lily went missing. After that, many of Joshua's exes have come forward to prove her report true."

"I suspect that he may have her. Or he's also going to try and find her for his own crooked ways."

"Well, if anyone knows anything, please contact your state police department."

"Cynthia's mother and father are missi--"

Five months. I've been gone for five months and all they can say is my parents are missing me dearly? That my husband may as well have been my accomplice?

I'm very disappointed in my parents and Daniel. If he had known anything about me, this should have told him I don't run from my problems. Yeah, I may have run away from a rapist and tried to get away from the mafia, but those are two completely different things. He surely hasn't looked everywhere, because he would have found me by now. I haven't even left Nevada.

Some people just can't stop lying. The day I left, Daniel told me he would come back for me and I would go home. He lied. That's why I left. He must have known I was going to do it, because he called me soon after I'd left the hospital. I told him I was fine and he said once again that he would come for me. I then proceeded to toss my phone out the car window.

I was very lucky to come to one of Seung Chan's hotels. He gave me a room and told me I could stay as long as I wanted. Diana was visiting frequently until they both had to leave for an overseas trip. They told me everything was free for me and all I had to do was tell them Diana was my cousin and I'd be given anything I wanted.

Two months after they left, I found an old friend of mine and she gave me an apartment to stay in. I was there now. Not many people were around, because most of them stayed on the upper floors and were probably at work. Plus, the complex wasn't even apartments. More like penthouses stacked on top of each other. I was lucky enough to get the place on the second floor. That meant I was alone most of the day, considering I had no job and everything I needed was brought to me.

A hard knock on the door startled me from my daydream. I got up slowly and put on the sling I had Lucio in. He was fast asleep and I was sure he'd wake up if I spoke too loud. I looked through the peephole and was surprised at who was out there.

I can't believe it's been at least eight years since I've seen him. His hair was in dark brown dreads down his back. He was growing a beard, but it was barely there. What caught me off guard was the sinister grin on his lips. Like he was happy that I was possibly behind the door.

I opened the door and smiled at him. He frowned and cocked his head to the side.

"Elias?" I asked. "How are you here?"

My eyes widened in surprise as his hand shot out and a cloth covered my nose. I struggled to keep Lucio from waking up, but blacked out almost immediately.
