Life couldn't get anymore difficult. My lover in the States was in a relationship. She was living the life I wanted to live alongside her. The many lovers I have in Malaysia aren't enough for me. They can't give me the peace and happiness I longed for from my foreign lover. And to hear one days she might remember where she had come from and come back to me. Either by chance or fate. Either would be nice. Who knew if I would meet her again in the middle of the throne war?

"Yang Mulia, Puteri Amina sedang menunggumu di ruang takhta," Amina's handmaiden said. Your Majesty, Princess Amina is waiting for you in the throne room.

"Beritahu dia saya akan sebentar. Minta kakitangan memastikannya selesa." I waved her away. Tell her I will be a minute. Have the staff keep her comfortable.

"Seperti yang anda mahukan, Yang Mulia." She left my office. As you wish, your Majesty.

Leading a kingdom isn't as hard as it was some years ago. Taking care of my family and the people is harder. I don't know what they're thinking all the time. It scares me to think they want to revolt and have me beheaded. Rebels from around the country have been planning my demise, but they'll never succeed.

Amina is my little sister. My only sister. If it were my choice, I'd ship her off to another country where she could live a life away from this one. The mafia and royalty just don't mix. Every now and then, she'd have suitors asking for her hand. If father had been alive, he would have let her go to any of the men. He hadn't been very lenient with me and my choices, but Amina was a different story. Mother always said a man should care for her daughter and not for her daughter's social status.

I tried to eliminate the social caste, but it proved harder than I imagined. Provinces aren't just going to give up their statuses to be like someone who doesn't live the extravagant life they had been living. Many people thought of this as a sign of weakness and tried to take me from my throne. If not for my mother, Amina would have been married to a commoner and never heard from again. I would have been in jail getting ready to be beheaded.

I felt the tension before I walked into the throne room. Even the guards seemed to be on edge. I immediately asked for my swords, ready to fend off anyone behind the door. My maids helped with my robe and placed my crown on my head. Whoever was making everyone nervous was going to feel my wrath. Not unless Amina wasn't in the mood today. Weird.

I walked into the throne room straight to my seat. Amina was seated on my left with her arms crossed. She was definitely angry about something. Who was it? I don't think anyone in the palace could actually make her angry. It was hard for me to do such a thing.

"Apa masalahnya, Amina?" I asked as I took a seat. What's the problem, Amina?

Amina glanced at me. "Rena memanggil. Dia berkata dia akan ke Itali." Rena called. She said she's going to Italy.

"Dan ini membuat anda marah, kerana..." And this is making you angry, because...

"Wanwan, sekiranya anda pergi ke Itali, tidak akan ada peluang kedua dengannya. Dia akan membawa teman lelakinya," she growled. Wanwan, if you happen to go to Italy, there will be no second chances with her. She's going to bring her boyfriend.

"Who says I'll go to Italy to court her again?"

"Saya tidak mengatakan anda akan, saudara, tetapi dia bukan orang yang saya akan mengganggu. Adakah anda tahu mengenai hubungannya dengan orang Korea? Kami berperang dengan mereka!" I'm not saying you will, brother, but she isn't one I would bother with. Do you know about her connection with the Koreans? We are at war with them!

"War...Amina, we're at war with their mafia, not their government. Two completely different leaders."

"Wanwan..." she warned.
