The week of exams had begun. This is what all of this review of partially for. James' tutoring lessons. It all went to help Holly through her exams, then through her N.E.W.T.'s, and then all of Holly's future Wizarding skills.

Holly had forced herself, and all her friends to constantly study with her. Not only did she need help studying, but she wanted her friends to be prepared as well. Personally, Holly would be studying at meals. Reading her books and even practicing some of the smaller spells she had learned. Holly would try her hardest to focus in lessons. She didn't let her mind wander and she even went as far as ignoring James and the others who sat next to her while they were at class. When she wasn't eating or sleeping or at lessons, Holly would most likely be found at the library studying. Whether it was alone or with all her friends or only some of her friends, Holly studied. There were a few rare times where Holly would leave the library and study somewhere else. Usually the black lake, the empty pitch, her common room, the great hall, and a few other comfortable spots.

She couldn't risk not doing well in these exams. Her mother would be furious if she got anything below an E. So to make sure that Holly could do the best she could, she was often found dragging James somewhere for them to study. James would follow her without a single complaint. They studied for hours on end, and every time James would suggest a break, Holly would glare harshly at him till he gave up and continued.

Holly had studied up till the last minute her exams were suppose to start. Her first exam being Herbology.

Holly turned into the corner that led to the greenhouse. She saw other students in front of her walking in and other students behind her in her year that were heading in.

As Holly walked by the threshold, Professor sprout high-fives her.

"You got this." She says enthusiastically. Holly smiles and nods, walking into the room that holds students, plants, and their exams.

Holly confidentially sits down and looks at the plants that were lined up around the room. She looks around till she sees Derek sitting in the dark back corner. Feeling the sensation of being looked at, Derek turns and her and they meet eyes. He smiles and sends her a wave. Holly smiles and waves back, adding a wink as a silent 'good luck!'

Holly ended up getting an 'O' in Herbology. The next exam she had was one for transfiguration. She had met up with James at her common room and they walked up to The Great Hall.

The transfiguration classroom was in sights and James was growing worried. Worried for Holly. He looked down at her confident frame and furrowed his brows.

"Are you positive about this one? You didn't study as much for this and Herbology." James said in worry.

Holly chuckled. She stopped in the hall and turned to him.

"James, why are you so nervous?" She asks. James looks away, laughing lightly and acting as if Holly saying he was nervous was absurd.

"I'm not worried for myself, I'm worried for you. You trusted me to be your tutor. But you fought tooth and nail that you didn't need to study in those subjects." Jams rambled, only meeting her eye once he finished.

"So you don't think I can manage on my own? Without your help?" Holly asked with an eyebrow raised. James smirked and shrugged teasingly. Holly scoffed and pushed him as they both started laughing.

"No, no. I know you're fully capable, I just worry for your studies I guess." He says, avoiding her gaze as he starts walking to the great hall again. Holly smiles and follows. She catches up to him and bumps her shoulder against his.
