DEAR FUTURE HUSBAND [ ZONAH ]

letter fifteen

may 27th, 2016

dear future husband,

it's my eighteenth birthday. i really thought that by now i might've met you or even seen you. i don't know.

my friends had a surprise party for me, and that was really cute. we had fun, and i felt like we were back in eighth grade again. it was amazing.

i got accepted into massachusetts institute of technology (mit) on a full ride academic scholarship, and i'm really thankful but also so proud of myself.

my highschool graduation is happening in 3 days, and then i have to get ready for college.

none of my friends are going to the same one as me, and it scares me. i feel like it will put a strain on our friendship. but i know that our bond is strong enough to get us through it.

daniel and olivia aren't going to college for obvious reasons. they said once fairity gets older maybe they'll go back to get a degree. speaking of fairity, it's almost her first birthday. she can say "mama" "dada" and "achy" which she calls me and i literally melt into a little puddle every time she does.

jack and gabbie unfortunately broke up because they wanted different things for their futures. they're also going to colleges on opposite sides of the country, so they decided they were better off as friends. they're being oddly mature about it and it's kinda scaring me but it's okay, i'm proud of them.

corbyn and christina are both going to new york, so they're extremely excited.

and i'm just..by myself.

but i have a good feeling about college. i'm going to school to do what i love.

and maybe find love?

this letter was short, but my life is so boring i honestly wouldn't know what to write.

i hope i see you soon.
