dear jonah marais,

the thought of being married to you is sill completely surreal to me, i can't believe we're going to be united forever.

our winter break from work has been filled with a million different plans for our wedding. we've been venue seeking, cake tasting, flower picking, and suit shopping daily, and we barely have time to just be with each other at the end of those days because of how exhausted we are.

the planning is tiring, but it's worth it in my eyes, because i know it will pay off in the end.

so far what we've decided on is a late spring wedding in our hometown, preferably on the beach but that's not a necessity.

we want it to be special, obviously, but we don't want a giant wedding where we invite everyone we've ever had a connection with. something medium sized, with family and close friends will suffice.

today, after a couple days of searching, i finally found my suit and tie. we, of course, decided on a blue and white colour scheme to symbolize the beach, where we shared so many memories together.

white roses and forget-me-nots are the flowers we picked, to symbolize purity and blue forget-me-notes for the beach duh:)

we also decided on a vanilla lemon cake, since it's a nice spring-summer flavour. the decoration will be simple, white and blue, not much fancy detailing.

is still feels like there are a million things to do. we still need to come up with a menu, finalize a date and send out invites, find bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits.

to sum it up, i'm going to be busy for the next couple months. but every time we make a decision together, it reminds me of the goal we're working towards. and i couldn't be more excited to see the result:)

i can't wait for our wedding day, i know it sounds all sappy and gross but this is what i've been waiting for since before i even started these letters.

especially when i met you and we just clicked right away...i knew we had something special but i underestimated the true power of our love. now i actually see it coming to life, and it's absolutely gorgeous.

so yay, time to go be busy with more wedding plans:))

talk to you soon

love you always<3
