dear future husband,
i met you. i know i did.
it was on campus, and i had just called an uber to take me to the airport, so i could fly home for the summer.
i was on my phone when you came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.
would it be too cliché to say that i was speechless? i don't care. i was:)
you said i looked familiar, and i told you about the ice cream shop and showed you the photo from the fourth of july.
introductions were made, and i found out your name.
jonah marais.
like i have never ever heard a more perfect name, i think i'm already in love:)
and you sure are one smooth motherfucker. i aspire to be like you one day<3
you asked me to fill out a survey and then gave me your phone. and the new contact page was open.
like please marry me right on the spot i'm literally ready>:(
i added myself and we talked even more, and i learned that you're at massachusetts to study psychology, and that you want to be a children's therapist after university.
you're such a good person i might cry.
and even adding on to that, we grew up in the same state, neighbouring cities. and i never once decently met you:(
but i did now:)
i almost cried when my uber pulled up, but you gave me a hug and told me that we would text all summer, and maybe even visit.
also, you give the best hugs and i want you to squeeze me forever and not let me go<3
if you're reading this and it's our wedding day, please give me a huge hug because i'm probably super nervous.
after i got in the uber, you waved to me and gave me this adorable smile that made my stomach feel all weird.
and now i'm literally about to board my flight but today was the most perfect day of my life and i had to write it all down because i'm just so happy-cited (that's not a word but i just made it one >-<).
i wasn't that excited about summer. i mean sure, i get to see my best friends again, but they're all in relationships and i always feel like a seventh wheel (jack and gabbie talked, and i think they're a thing again).
but now i finally have someone:)
i hope you really are my soulmate, jonah.
and if, by a tiny small chance, you're not, please don't break me.
signed,
zachary dean herron xx
