Chapter 12- Family

Obi-Wan was glad he had a few weeks off, he could spend some time with his wife. Satine was about five months pregnant now, yet neither of them could agree on whether the child was a boy or girl. Obi-Wan was hoping for a daughter, but believed that he was wrong, regardless, he was excited beyond belief.

Landing on the palace platform, he was graced with a few bows, as he was technically the Duke of Mandalore, but he didn't use the title. He was already a Jedi master, no need to boast, unless it was to Anakin... Satine came walking, well actually waddling, to him and gave him a gentle kiss.

"It's been too long my dear Obi, I've missed you. Oh, and she's been kicking so much, I'm excited, but it does hurt."

He chuckled, he could only agree,
"And I you my love, I will say I don't envy your position, though if there's anything I can do to help, just say."

At this, Satine had a devilish smirk, she wanted to spend some private time with her husband. Holding his hand, she lead them to their now shared chambers. Once inside Obi-Wan began kissing her passionately, starting at her hand and continuing until he met her jaw, at which point she kissed him back. 'I love you so
damn much' she thought as he carefully carried her to the bed. She then decided she wanted to take control, and pushed the Jedi down so that now she was on top. It wasn't long until they were both exploring each others bodies, and Obi-Wan was more relaxed than when he ever mediated, he enjoyed being submissive to his wife, and she enjoyed it too. That was the most important thing for him, that she was happy, and vice versa, his wife would never do anything he didn't like. The trust they had was like a blanket over their love. It protected them, made them feel warm, and kept them close.

The Resolute landed on the cleared landing bay of the Jedi temple, Anakin was in the hangar speaking with his captain when he felt a pair of arms snake around his waist.

"Hello angel, I'm guessing you missed me?"

Padmé smiled into his side, "like you wouldn't believe."

Captain Rex saw that the two wanted to be together, so he went to find Ahsoka. He quite liked the kid, she was funny, and could keep up in a banter battle against the general. 'I wonder how she'd fair against general Kenobi?' His thoughts kept him amused as he searched the hangar bay for the fire cracker that was padawan Tano.

Anakin turned around in his fiance's arms, she had loosened her grip just enough to make it possible. Tilting her head upwards, he still had to lean down to kids her when she was on her tip toes, it was adorable to him. She was adorable to him. Pulling away from the kiss, he looked directly into the eye he had fallen in love with so long ago.
"I'm so glad I get to marry you Mé, I love you so much."

"I love you too Ani, you're everything for me, I can't wait to spend time together."

Just as he was about to speak, a short togrutan girl came bounding over to them, dragging behind her his captain. She just gave the two of them her biggest smile, whilst Rex was trying to catch his breath. Anakin turned to the man for answers, and he simply gave a look as if to say 'there are no words.' Accepting this, Anakin decided to introduce Ahsoka to Padmé, he had promised her that he would do so.

"Padmé, this is my padawan, Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka, this is my fiance, Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo."

"It's a pleasure to meet you my lady." Ahsoka said, remembering her etiquette lessons from being a youngling.

Padmé was just as polite, giving a sweet smile,
"The pleasure is all mine, now, let's leave these formalities in the hangar. Why don't you come to mine and Anakin's flat? I want to get to know you better."

Ahsoka wasn't planning to decline the offer, but the woman seemed to give her no choice as she ushered the two Jedi to an awaiting speeder. Looking to Anakin for any help, he just laughed out a response.

"This is my soon to be wife, and she has the reputation she has for a reason Snips"

"Oh please Ani, as if you're the calm one, the hero with no fear hmm?"

Taking in the scene before her, it was even clearer now to Ahsoka that her master and his fiance were soul mates, she only hoped one day she would have the same.
