chapter thirteen

Jisoo had her in front of her, she liked visiting Lisa as she worked, the passion that she brought out while dancing was always something that she admired. Each and every step was on point, on beat while Lisa's entire body kept swinging right and left, back and forth in harmony with all the other members of her team. And then she stopped, pausing the music and placing her hands on her waist, looking around and spotting one of her girls, pointing at her and making direct eye contact with her. "You messed up" Lisa said and started the music over again, turning her back and not moving at all, wanting to see the rest of them repeat it again, checking each and every one of them through the giant mirror for any mistakes. God Lisa was strict, she was too strict but so many people wanted to be in her classes after she won that award, Jisoo couldn't be more proud of her. She was also proud that Lisa was listening to her advice, staying away from Jennie for a while.

Or so she thought. Taking a good look at Lisa from afar she could see the make up that she had on, spread across her chest and neck running down, a small purple mark coming to her attention. Lisa of course didn't notice, by the way that she started dancing again, following the music and not losing any beat, her body being in sync with the rest of the team once again. Not again Lisa, Jisoo said to herself and she crossed her arms in front of her chest, sitting down again and paying attention to Lisa, if she didn't want to kill them after practicing with them for five hours straight she would let them go eventually. "One more time," Lisa said and she heard everyone groan in frustration, the woman turning to them and taking a good look at the girls, peeking down at her watch, noticing immediately that it was already 7, the class should have ended an hour ago.

"Alright, you're free," Lisa gave up and saw her team scatter to pieces, all of them exiting the studio and heading to the changing room, the room quickly emptying. Sitting down on the floor Lisa grabbed her water bottle, chugging down her cold water and letting her head fall back relaxing a little bit. She could feel her friend's eyes on her, Jisoo was sitting a couple feet away from her with her eyes glued on Lisa's body. "What now?" Lisa asked and looked at her, Jisoo pointing at Lisa's neck without saying any words at all. Reaching up to touch her skin she was confused when she didn't feel anything, the woman looking herself in the mirror and seeing what Jisoo was referring to instantly feeling her body freeze. "You couldn't hold back, could you?" Jisoo asked and got up, approaching Lisa who was still on the floor. Sighing in defeat, Lisa shook her head and avoided looking up at her friend.

"You don't get it," Lisa said in a desperate try to defend her choices and actions, pulling herself up to be in the same level as Jisoo. She couldn't avoid looking back at her now, not while being face to face with her. "Lisa, if you want to be with her  then break up with Evelyn." Jisoo coldly said giving Lisa a deadly stare her face muscles not even moving as she spoke. "You can't have both without screwing yourself over" Jisoo explained and poked Lisa's shoulder the woman sighing and closing her eyes she let everything sink in, her chest once again feeling heavy as hell. "I can't be with Jane, she's not into relationships" Lisa spoke up, her hands covering her face muffling her voice as she started to lose her balance, the woman feeling the need to sit back down but never doing so. "So what? Occasional fucking? Fun?" Jisoo asked Lisa nodding immediately while reaching out to hold Jisoo's shoulder so she could support her body that was starting to break down.

"I didn't know she's that type of person" The woman admitted, her hand reached out to help Lisa remain standing in fear that her best friend would collapse from tiredness. "She's a nice person" Lisa said under her breath, her voice almost audible. The woman could feel everything spin around her and her eyes sight turn dark while Jisoo's voice became more distant. "But Evelyn," Lisa spoke up and her knees gave out, the woman collapsing on the ground since Jisoo's grip on her arm didn't really help, her back hitting the wooden floor while a loud noise filled the practice room. "Not again," Jisoo said and fell to her knees as well, grabbing the water bottle that Lisa was previously drinking out from and pouring all the cold water on Lisa's face, her friend's eyes remaining closed. "You're so stupid, so so stupid Manoban" Jisoo said raising her voice and shaking Lisa's body, doing all the things that she was told to do when that happened.
