"So she didn't come?" Jisoo asked and took a seat right next to Lisa, the tall woman nodding her head without looking over at Jisoo at all. The night that had passed was one of the most intense and crazy ones that she had spent with Jennie and for once she wasn't going to blame it on the sex part. There was an explosion of emotions, all kinds of emotions and it really shocked Lisa more than anything else that had happened between them. "Huh, I really thought she would to be honest" Jisoo laughed and grabbed the short glass in front of her, bringing it closer to her and letting the straw touch her lips Jisoo took a sip from her coffee. "Like, Jane never really loses the opportunity to rub something on someone's face" Jisoo added after a while, the name that she dropped catching Lisa's attention for the first time. The woman was one of those people that could understand how people around her work and that was one of the main reasons she annoyed Lisa.

"What?" Jisoo spoke up again, Lisa was looking at her while wearing a poker face plus she wasn't talking at all which was really strange for someone like Lisa who over-thinks and talks. A lot. "Jane, she just... Nevermind" Lisa sighed and let her head fall on the counter in front of her, her temple touching the cold marble surface. Lisa wasn't sure if she wanted to talk about what happened mostly because she would have to analyze everything that went down the night before. Letting Jisoo known that she was starting to care about Jennie and that she wanted to find out more about her and what made her who she is... It was not going to go over well, she just knew it. "Manoban, you can't tease me and then keep your mouth close" Jisoo groaned. That was her one pet peeve, she couldn't stand people that started off by saying something and then they stop as if they regret talking in the first place.

Lisa just stayed down with her head against the counter, groaning in frustration. She couldn't be more grateful that Evelyn wasn't home yet, she wouldn't be able to really explain the reason why she felt so down and unmotivated. She could but she wouldn't, not to her soon to be wife. Even the thought of that made her chest feel tighter, it almost made it ache with hesitation and second thoughts. Guilt as well. "You like her don't you?" Her best friend said while lowering her voice, shifting on her seat slightly so she could face Lisa a bit more. Lisa froze, the blood in her veins had stopped and the only thing that she could feel working was her heart that was beating out of her chest at this point. There was no way she would admit something like that, there was no way she could. "Lisa, just look at me for one minute" Jisoo said and she let her arms reach out to help Lisa get up, the woman fighting back instantly.

"I don't, stop being ridiculous." Lisa finally burst, yanking her whole body away from Jisoo who sat there completely clueless. "I just want to know what's up with her. She really looks like a damn mystery" Lisa explained, heavy breathing and giving off a sense of aggression towards her best friend. "It's all fun and games. She's five years younger than me, stop assuming things." Lisa spat out coldly and turned her head away from Jisoo's direction, her body staying on the stool with much difficulty. Jisoo didn't say anything, she didn't want to push Lisa further and cause the whole neighborhood to hear her best friend yelling at the top of her lungs. "So I guess you'll be stopping this in a couple months then" Jisoo eventually spoke up, her eyes never really leaving Lisa's figure as she waited for her friend to respond. The woman in front of her didn't say anything, she just nodded and looked down at her blurred out reflection on the counter.

"Change the subject" Lisa almost demanded at this point after feeling her stomach turning in her body, the tall woman getting slightly pale. Jisoo was quick to oblige, the last thing she wanted was for Lisa to get sick or more than uncomfortable. Whether she liked it or not Lisa didn't really feel like she had any right to talk to Jisoo about Jennie. It was wrong and even though her best friend seemed to have accepted it for now Lisa still didn't feel comfortable talking about her. It was enough to know that the woman heard them that night, she didn't want any more of that guilt following her. "Chaeyoung and I managed to book tickets for Hawaii," Jisoo said all of a sudden, the news hitting Lisa like a wall of bricks and she couldn't help but be confused. "Would you be interested to come along?" Jisoo then added, her suggestion making Lisa's eyes sparkle immediately. It wasn't hard to see what was coming, there was no way Lisa would turn it down.
