"Lisa?" Jennie's low voice echoed in the dimly lit room, her eyes searching for Lisa's figure who she could swear she remembers sleeping next to. "Are you here?" Jennie called out again and sat up on the bed, her arms hugging herself, the windows that were wide open letting all the cool summer air come in the hotel room. "Lisa?" The woman called out once she heard footsteps walking around in the bathroom, her eyes lighting up immediately when the door was pushed open and Lisa's tall silhouette came into sight, a huge weight lifting off of her shoulders. "Hey, is everything okay?" Lisa asked worried and rushed back to the bed, hoping on and sitting next to Jennie who hadn't looked away at all all this time. "Yeah, I just thought you left" Jennie laughed quietly and leaned next to her, her body leaning against Lisa's body while Lisa's arm wrapped around Jennie's petite body.

"I thought about it but then I thought about it again and  I decided to stay," Lisa admitted and looked down at the same time that Jennie looked up, the urge to lean down a few more inches and kiss her was too strong to ignore. "What?" Lisa asked while smiling, her eyes sparkling under the dim light that was helping her make out Jennie's face and most importantly of all her cat eyes. "You're so pretty, how?" Jennie asked suddenly a few moments later, Lisa's heart stopping immediately when she realized that Jennie didn't have any type of sarcastic tone in her voice. "I could ask you the same thing," Lisa said after she gathered up enough courage to talk again, her hand reaching up to pinch Jennie's cheek like she always did, a habit of hers by now.

"Don't judge a book by its cover," Jennie smiled and looked down, now avoiding Lisa's stare for her own good. Lisa didn't know that this saying could be used to describe someone in a bad way but there she was again getting proven wrong by Jennie again. Sometimes she wishes she could show Jennie that she wasn't as bad as she thought she was or at least as bad as she showed herself to be. If only she knew that it was the people that turned her into this and not just a choice that she took all by herself, maybe then she would understand that she could do so much better if she wanted to. "I'm not the best person on the inside either, Jen," Lisa spoke up again and this time pulled both herself and Jennie down on the bed, Jennie's head now resting on Lisa's chest like it had done so many times before.

"You asked me if I still love Evelyn," Lisa brought back what Jennie must have asked her a day ago when the time found them in her hotel room again. "If you asked me that a couple months ago I'd say of course," Lisa explained and her hand looked for Jennie's hand to slowly intertwine their fingers. "Now all I know is that I don't know how to answer your question" Lisa laughed to cover up the overall confusion and mixture of emotions that was going on in her head while Jennie made sure to close her eyes and her mouth so she wouldn't say something that she would later on regret. "I really wish I'd met you years ago," Lisa said all of a sudden causing Jennie to look at her immediately, her cat eyes shining in the dark while looking at Lisa who simply looked in the distance.

"You never lied to me. You didn't really want to hurt me. You were honest and clear about what you want from me. Is there anything better than that?"

She had kind of gotten tired of seeing the sky pouring since it was all it had been doing for the past week. Jennie wasn't the biggest romantic that killed for a rainy night or day under the candle light while watching Disney movies cuddled up next to someone. Maybe that is why she despised rain that much, because she wasn't that type of person even though she had done something similar before the last time she remembers watching Frozen with Lisa. "Jen?" Chaeyoung's voice reached her ears, Jennie who was sitting down on her living room floor now looking over her shoulder to lock eyes with her friend. "What's wrong?" Chaeyoung asked and approached her some more soon sitting down next to her, neither of them caring that they were sitting on the floor.
