She was crazy. She was more than crazy to me exact. Lisa had just left the restaurant only a few moments after getting the text from Jennie. The excuse "she's my partner and I need her," was way too strong for anyone to say something over it, not even Evelyn dared to speak up since she knew that it was her fault after all. She was now sitting in the back seat of a taxi, in a country she doesn't know anything about waiting in traffic while calling Jennie who refused to pick up her phone. She was stubborn, too stubborn for her own good but she couldn't blame her for it, at least not this time. "Come on, please" Lisa sighed and called again and again, the voice mail coming through every damn time that she tried reaching her. Jennie didn't want to be contacted, she wasn't going to give her a chance to apologise again simply because she could have done something when it was happening.

"God damn it Jen, pick up" Lisa sighed again and again, calling the woman's phone even trying texting her again and again just in case she saw it and decided to pick up one of Lisa's calls. "I'm sorry sir, can we hurry a bit more?" Lisa asked politely, the man in front of her looking at her strangely as if he couldn't understand what Lisa was saying. It's because he couldn't, the man had no idea what Lisa had just asked him to do simply because he didn't know English. "Oh you don't, okay I'm screwed," Lisa cussed under her breath and pulled out her phone again, typing what she had just said into the translator of her phone and playing it for him. "Okay okay," the old man said and gave her a thumbs up immediately speeding up and going down the street so fast that everything around them was a blur.

It couldn't have taken that long, it shouldn't be longer than fifteen minutes even less than that from the time that they originally started heading to the hotel again. Pulling out a couple dollars to pay the driver, Lisa called Jennie's number again, her heart beating out of her chest as she stepped out of the cab and headed to the entrance. "Jesus Christ Jane," Lisa exhaled deeply for what felt like the millionth time in such a small amount of time. Her feet were on fire, she doesn't remember running so much after someone in her life, she ran so much that she reached the third floor in no time which was surprising for her who usually got tired in the first set of stairs. Finally standing in front of Jennie's room Lisa froze while gathering all the strength she had to knock on it. She was out of excuses, almost, and she wasn't sure of what she was going to say.

She didn't have the time to knock though, the door flew open just as she raised her hand to knock on it, Jennie standing right in front of her with a suitcase in her hand. "What are you doing here?" Jennie asked in the coldest way possible, her eyes almost dead, no sign of any emotion in them as Lisa stood in front of her. "Where are you going?" Lisa hit her with a question again, the woman's eyes falling on the luggage one more time while pointing at it as well. "It doesn't concern you" Jennie spoke up and tried taking a step out to the hallway that Lisa was standing at, the taller woman staying in front of her like a barrier. "Yeah it does, stop that" Lisa snapped and took a step forward so she would be in the room as well, the door behind her closing again while Jennie tried her best to push Lisa back out so she could leave as well.

"You have no right to stop me from leaving," Jennie snapped back and let go of the suitcase that she was holding, the heavy luggage falling to the floor between Lisa and Jennie. Lisa stood there for a moment trying to understand what she had to do or say to make things better, it had only been a day that she was okay with Jennie and she was now losing the battle once again. "Yeah I do," Lisa said and looked Jennie straight into the eyes, her heart beating out of her chest due to the intensity of the situation but also from the intensity that the previous situation caused. "No you don't. I'm not Evelyn, I'm not your girlfriend, I'm none of that" Jennie explained while keeping her tone in the highest volume that she could, her hands pushing Lisa's shoulder so the woman would eventually walk out of the room and leave her alone.

"Was it real? What she said?" Lisa asked even though she knew that she was going to regret it in a moment, she knew that it would affect Jennie a lot but she was willing to take the shot although she had chances of not making it. "Are you serious now?" Jennie laughed and ran her hand through her hair out of frustration, walking further in the hotel room since she could tell that Lisa wouldn't be leaving any time soon, she would push her over the limits once again and Jennie didn't know whether she could take it or not. "I'm not going to judge you, but is it true?" Lisa asked and tried approaching Jennie again always keeping a bit of distance between the two of them not wanting to make her suffocate in her own room. "Yeah Lisa, your fiancé is a genius. Congrats, your theory of me being a slut came to fucking life, are you satisfied now? Will you celebrate together?" Jennie asked one question after the other, raising her voice even more for every question that she made, Lisa just standing there remaining as calm as she could.
