It's 7:30pm Shehnaaz was returning home from work. She gets a call.
Shehnaaz - Haan maa kya hua aa he rahi thi ghar (on the call)
Maa - Sana beta sabjiya le aana thori se. (On the call)
Shehnaaz - Thik hae rakho le aao ge.(she cuts the call)
Shehnaaz parks her scooty on the side to buy some vegetables just then a black SUV car hits her scooty. A loud bang gained her attention, she turned around to see the disaster in front of her eyes.
Shehnaaz - Oh shit. Yeh kya kar diya? Bahar nikal. Aise Kon gaadi chalata hae!? (She shouts)
It was Sidharth's car. Sidharth gets down from the car. Looking hot as hell in the blue jeens and white T-shirt.
Sidharth - Yeah scooty lagane ke jagah hae? Yaha par aise beech mei scooty lagao ge toh aur kya hoga!? (He spoke sternly)
Shehnaaz - yeah acha hae pehle galti khud karo aur phir ilzaam dusre par daalo. (She puts her hand on her waist)
Sidharth - Mera time waste mat karo batao kitne paise hue mai pay kar deta hu. I don't have time to waste.
Shehnaaz - excuse me!? Apne paise tum apne pass rakho samjhe. Aur haan (she picks up a tomato and hits him with it) yeh mere scooty todne ke liye aur thik mai usse khud kar lungi.
Sidharth was very furious. He takes out his handkerchief and wipes his face saying nothing just staring at her.
Shehnaaz - Tum jannte ny ho mujhe 5 star restaurant ke manager hu mai. Aise gaadi mai bhi le sakte hu.
Sidharth just sits back in his car and drives away.
Sidharth - bloody middle class (he thinks)
Shehnaaz calls Shehbaaz (her brother) to pick her up.
At Sidharth's home. Sid's mom was sitting in the living room while Sidharth enters.
Mom - Beta Sidharth yeh kya laga hua hae? (she wipes out the tomato from his t-shirt)
Sidharth - kuch ny mom yaha par pagal logo ke kami ny hae. Mai aata hu change karke phir dinner kar lete hae.
Mom - acha thik hae.
At Shehnaaz's home. Shehnaaz was still murmuring something in anger. She had called her brother to pick her up.
Maa - beta kya ho gaya tha?
Shehnaaz - kuch ny maa vo tha ek Pagal Apni Car se mere scooty thok de.
Maa - Koi ny kal se driver ke sath chal jana.
Shehnaaz - maa please yaar phir mat start hona mai scooty thik karane de dungi tab tak auto se chal jao ge.
Maa - Beta kya zid hae yeh tere. Chaar Chaar gadiya hae ghar par phir bhi apni khatara scooty se Restaurant jana hae. Papa ne kaha bhi ke beta Paise le lo aur apna business start kar lo phir bhi ny.... zid hae na tumhari. Tujhe toh kaam karne ke bhi zarurat ny hae phir bhi yeh sab.
Shehnaaz - maa bus yaar ab ho gaya please apko pata hae mujhe jo Karna hae khud se karna hae bina kise ke help liye.
Sana's dad comes out of the room listening to the usual argument going on.
Papa - Haan ji puttar ekdum. Koi mere Sana ko tang ny Kare ga.
Shehnaaz goes and hugs her dad.
Shehnaaz - Ek papa he support karte hae aur chahte hae mai khud se kuch karu.
Maa - Haan haan Baki sab toh dushman hae na tere.
Shehbaaz - Yaar mummy bhukh lagi hae ab khana dedo please.
Maa - Haan haan chal Sana tu bhi change karke aa ja.
Next day Sidharth went to his office. The only 5 star restaurant in that city belonged to him so he asked for the file of employees in that restaurant. Shehnaaz's name was also there in the post of manager.
Sidharth - Shehnaaz Kaur Gill. Interesting. Canada university se graduation ke hae. Achi cook hae. Dekhne se bhi middle class ny lagti toh yeh restaurant mei kyu kaam kar rahe hae!?....... Jo bhi ho ab isko mai batata hu. (he calls out for his assistant)....... Maya remove her aur kise aur ko iske post par dalo. Isko nikal do.
Maya - It'll be done sir.
Sidharth - Good. (He smirks)
Sidharth gets a call from Manya (His fiancee)
Manya - Hi Sid. (on the call)
Sidharth - bolo kya hua I'm busy. (on the call in a stern voice)
Manya - Mujhe shopping par jana hae. (on the call)
Sidharth - Money transfer kar raha hu khud chal jao. (on the call)
Manya - ok love you bye. (she cuts the call)
Sidharth - kabhi kabhi lagta hae yeh mere paiso ke liye mere sath hae but it's ok ek Acha image maintain rahe hae isse shadi karke. (He thinks)
On the other side. At Shehnaaz's work place.
Shehnaaz - Mujhe nikal diya matlab. Aise kaise nikal diya!? Kisne nikal diya.
The new manager - Jo yeh sari 5 star restaurant ke owner hae unhone nikala hae direct uper se odder aaya hae.
Shehnaaz - Iss uper wale se baat karne padege mujhe. (she thinks)
A little back story....
Shehnaaz's dad and Sidharth's dad both were best friends after Sidharth's dad died Sidharth, his two sisters and his mom left Delhi without letting anyone know and came to Mumbai to start new. Sidharth was 15 at that time and Shehnaaz was 10. They lost touch with Shehnaaz's family. Both the families still remembers each other almost every day. Sidharth's mom decided to reach out to them. She some how arranged their no. And gave a call.
Sid's mom - Hello Parmindar?
Sana's mom - haan ji.
Sid's mom - mai Rita bol rahe hu (she has tears in her eyes)
Sana's mom - Kya!? Rita (she too has tears in her eyes).... Kaise ho tum aur kaha ho. Tum achanak se Delhi chor kar chal gae aur phir kabhi pata he ny chala ke tum aur bache kaise ho kaha ho.
Sid's mom - mujhe maaf kar dena please. Uss samay kuch suja he ny aaya laga bacho ko ek new start du waha rehna unke liye mushkil ho jata.
Sana's mom - Ab toh humme milna chahiye kaha ho tum abhi?
Sid's mom - Mumbai mei. Tumlog Delhi mei he ho?
Sana's mom - nahi humlog bhi Mumbai shift ho gae hae. Inka business sab Yaha par zada acha hae isliye.
Sid's mom - toh mai address message kar rahe hu tum aur Bhai Sahab dono aao aur Shehnaaz aur shehbaaz ko bhi sath lana. Unhe Mai yaad bhi hu?
Sana's mom - Aree yaad kaise ny honge hamesha tumhare pass he toh rehte thi bachpan mei. Humlog zarur aaye ge.
