Part 56:  At nang malaman niya...

(Colorado)

Ilang araw na lang at nararamdaman ko na ang Pasko. I don't celebrate Christmas usually. But this time, I need to.

“Colo, are you OK?” Pedro asked me and broke my silence.

“I don't know what to answer. I'm guess I'm not.”

He suddenly nuzzled me and say, “Everything will be fine. I tell you.” And he sniff my hair.

“Nakakalito na rin kasi lahat ng nangyayari. Bakit parang sabay-sabay?”

“Alam mo kasi, God moves in mysterious ways. You know, he won't give you such painstaking moment if you can't do it.”

“But, mi amor, you know me, right? I don't believe in Him.”

“I know, I know. But really, he won't give you that if you can't do that strongly.” He flickered my hair and ruffled it.

“I guess I can really do this.”

I'm so lucky to have Pedro here beside me. I looked outside the window. The sun shines so bright and puched softly on my face. It was like a punch of some happy and good vibes.

I stood up to see what's happening on the outside. And I see Billie composing his song to show again. He's currently working for his EP or express play album. Well, I don't even know it until he told me it is an album composed of 2-8 songs probably. I don't know.

“Pedro, look. My son is doing a song again.”

“He's such a talent. I guess you have got an undiscovered gem.”

“Actually, he's popular in the social media. I don't know why kids nowadays give too much importance for fame. Tell me since you're closer to their age.”

“I guess it's about gaining some self-esteem. We're very sorry about it. Pero kung hindi naman dahil sa mga teenagers, hindi na existent ang Facebook, right?”

“Well, you have a point. I guess I'm too old to handle.”

“No, you're not that folk-looking.” He hissed and laughed because I just stared at him with a gritty face. He really knows how to make me mad and sorry about my age.

He unshackled himself from embracing me and got himself fixed. He brushed his hair. Washed his face and wear his clothes steadily fast.

“By the way, I have to go. I missed some practice. Bye.” He said.
