(Mackenzie's POV)

I woke up still wrapped in Darry's arms. I took as long as I could before Nolan started yelling for me. I kissed Dar's head and tried to move but it was like he glued his arms around me.

"Sunshine?" I said slowly while kissing all over his face. He groaned and held me tighter which made me giggle. Nolan had calmed down which I figured was odd.

We both laid there enjoying the silence while we could. Soda came into the room holding Nolan with a smile. He was shocked that Nolan started screaming and crying again.

I got up and took Nolan. "Don't worry Soda it's just because he saw us. Thank you for getting him." I said and he smiled. I kissed Nols head and he immediately calmed. Darry was hiding under the blanket trying to sleep some more.

He had work in an hour and I had the day off. I was going to make breakfast so I plopped Nolan down onto Darry's stomach making him grunt and laugh a little.

I made breakfast and went to the table to see Darry being pulled by Nolan into the room. He came up and gave me a sweet kiss while Nolan almost screamed at us.

"Momma don't do that!" He yelled and we both laughed. We called down Soda and Ponyboy. We all enjoyed breakfast before the other boys barged through the door.

Darry said he could take Nolan for the day because the guys loved him. I gave them both a cheek kiss. Darry gave me a playful pout for no real kisses. I just giggled and shut the door on him.

I decided to try something new for dinner and I had to pick up a few things. I was the only one home. I drove over and grabbed a cart. I was putting things in when a girl came over to me.

"Hey, uh don't I know you?" She asked. I looked her over trying to see if I recognized her.
"I don't believe so." I said which made us both laugh a little.
"Well I'm Lindsay." She held out her hand and I shook it.
"Mackenzie Curtis." I said. She gave me a quick glare then said something really off.
"I know." I gave her a look back to that and she quickly added. "Well now I do." She tried laughing it off.

I laughed and nodded. "Well I have to get going. Nice talking to you." I said. I basically ran away. I paid for what I needed and left.

I ran into my car and locked it as soon as I could. I instantly drove home when I noticed a car following me. I saw Lindsay in the back.

I sped up and drove to a few random places making sure she was actually following me and I wasn't paranoid. She left after the first turn so I calmed down a lot. She must also be a greaser. I decided to go see Darry and Nolan because I was freaked out.
