(Mackenzie's POV)

I was waking up when sunlight flooded my eyes. I groaned and shut my eyes immediately. I heard a small giggle and looked over my shoulder to see Nolan laughing at me.

I couldn't help but smile and pull him into bed with me. Pony was cradling Emily while Johnny watched. The whole gang was here today, I said good morning and they all returned it.

I kissed Nolan's head and took the extra Dino he had in his hand. I started to play with him until he pulled it out of my hand. "Hey!" I laughed.
"Mommy that's daddy's Dino, this is your Dino." He said and switched Dino's with me. I nodded and laughed a bit until Nolan looked at me and said, "where's daddy?" He looked so sad.

I just sighed. "Daddy's not here right now, but he'll be back soon." I said. He nodded and continued to play.

The nurse came in and kicked everyone out so I could have my checkup. She ran a few tests and I had to wait another hour to be cleared or not. So we played card games and Dino's until she came back.

She came back with the all clear that I could go home. I picked up Emily and Pony walked Nolan. I wanted to stop by and see Darry again before I went home.

I peaked in the room and went over. I kissed his cheek. "Hi sunshine, I brought Emily with me." I said. I just stayed and looked at him and told him I would be back everyday.

Pony came in saying we should get home so I left with him.

We got home and I realized that we hadn't finished the baby's room! She was taking Soda's old room. We were gonna do a little sunshine themed room. We would've done the same for Nolan except his thing is Dino's.

We had a cradle in there we just needed finishing touches. I put Emily in her cradle and went to shower. Nolan was too busy with his TV show to notice.

I enjoyed the quiet and hot water. I was going back later today to see Darry. I hopped out of the shower and got changed. I threw on sweatpants and I tighter shirt with a jacket.

I asked Soda and Pony to watch the kids and they agreed. Even though they don't live here it's like they still live here, me and Darry both love it though.

I got in the truck and started it up. I drove to the hospital and checked in.
"Mrs. Curtis? You were just here this morning. You should be home resting!" The nurse said with a small giggle. And I laughed along.

"I just wanted to see Darry again." I said and she nodded.
"Well right now isn't a good time, the doctor is doing a checkup. I'd suggest coming back tomorrow, because you need to rest too." She said and I nodded.
"Okay, well I'll be back tomorrow and call me if anything happens with Darry." I said and she nodded.

I made my way back to the truck and drove home sadly. I'll see him tomorrow though....
