🌻Boy Or Girl?🌻

(Mackenzie's POV)

Today is the day we get to figure out wether we are having a baby boy or baby girl. I didn't care what gender the baby was as long as they were safe.

I think Darry wanted a girl. He's always said that he's wanted a baby girl. Everyone tells me that Darry's wrapped around my finger. I can't wait to see how he'd be with a daughter too.

He acts tough in front of everyone but really he's just a big teddy bear, if he had a girl he would be crazy happy!

And if we had another boy I think Nolan would be happy! He would have someone to rough house with and play Dino's with. So, it's a win-win no matter what.

I was woken up by the dreaded alarm clock. "Hey sleepyhead!" Darry whispered into my ear.
"Hmm?" I groaned back.
"Wake up Sunshine." He cooed into my ear. He started kissing my temple I rolled over into his arms. He laughed as I nuzzled my head into his chest.

"Don't you want to know what our little sunshine is?" He asked. We've been calling the baby sunshine since there was no gender yet. I nodded in response and Darry kissed my stomach a few times.

It tickled so I laughed a bit. He just smiled and gave me a good morning kiss. I slowly got out of bed and made my way to Nolan's room.

"Hi baby..." I whispered, it was early so he was still asleep. I picked him up and held him for a moment before placing him back in his bed.

Darry came in and basically pulled me to the shower because we were late. He made us breakfast while I showered and changed.

When it was done we ate and headed out the door. The appointment was for 8:00am and it was currently 7:47am. We were going to be there just on time.

We walked in hand in hand. We smiled and nodded to each other. Darry checked us in at the front desk as I took a seat. My stomach was getting larger but it would all be worth it. The doctor came out about 10 minutes later calling our name.

We got up and went to a little green room. I sat in the chair that they had. Darry stood next to me and held my hand the whole time.

The doctor put some of the cold jelly on my stomach. She started the ultrasound and we saw our little sunshine in my stomach. I looked at Darry who had tears in his eyes. I didn't realize I was crying until Darry wiped a tear off my face.

The doctor just smiled at us. "Would we like to know the gender of the baby today?" She asked.
We both nodded and she looked closer to the screen.
"Well Mr. and Mrs. Curtis, it looks like you're having a baby..."
