(Mackenzie's POV)

I got to Darry's work only to see Lindsay talking to Darry. I walked up.

"Hi Lindsay." I said nervously. She smiled evilly.
"Hi Mackenzie." She gave a side eye to me. I grabbed Darry's hand and squeezed it so he knew something was wrong. He got the message.

"Mack, this is my ex-girlfriend. I think you and Lindsay have met though." I nodded and forced a smile. Darry pulled me close to his body. I stayed glued to him as he finished talking to Lindsay and she left.

He turned to me. "I'm sorry sweetie, she's crazy. We ended things because I couldn't handle her." He said and I could tell he was nervous.
"She said she already knew who I was at the supermarket." I said almost shaking. I had a really bad feeling about this girl.

"Okay baby, you don't go anywhere without me from now on okay? At least until it's safe." I nodded and he hugged me.

His friend brought Nolan over to us and I held him so close. Darry took the rest of the day off for us. We went instantly home and inside. Me and Darry were still baffled about how that girl acted.

I was really starting to get worried but Darry told me she was harmless and it was just a weird day. I agreed and we went to bed early. He held me close and nuzzled his head with mine. He kept kissing my head until I was laughing then he started to full on tickle me.

This went on for a while until we tired ourselves out from the tickle war. He wrapped his strong arms around me, and I laid on his chest. He pulled the blanket around us and we slowly fell asleep.

(Darrel's POV)

I watched as Mack slowly closed her eyes. I played with her hair to let her fall asleep faster. I kissed her head again and held her tight. Earlier Lindsay was trying to get me back.

I didn't like Lindsay, when I first met her she was soft spoken and sweet like Mackenzie. She started to act weird after we started dating. She slowly became obsessed with me. I was terrified so I ended it.

I looked down to Mack. This girl saved me. She gave me a life I've always dreamed of. She is my little sunshine and I love her with all my heart. I just watched her breathe lightly until I slowly started to feel myself drift off.

Lindsay was coming towards me. She had Nolan, she was taking my boy. I looked around for Mack. She was on the floor, lifeless. I dropped down next to her and sobbed kissing her head over and over begging and pleading God not to end her life here. I stared at my gorgeous and loving wife laying dead on the floor. I started screaming for help, anyone, anything, save my sunshine. I stumbled backwards laying on my back taking her hand in mine. I prayed, I prayed for my sunshine and all she was.

I got up and ran towards Lindsay, she did this on purpose. She killed Mack, no matter what I would never love her. I chased her, hearing my boy call out screaming for his dad. Screaming for me. Screaming for Mack.

It seemed like no matter how fast and how long I ran they only got further ahead of me. I picked up the pace and watched as my baby boys face disappeared. His screams muffled and eventually stopped. I screamed again and ran. I found my boy lying on the ground, Lindsay with a knife to his neck.
'TELL ME YOU LOVE ME' she hissed.
'GIVE ME MY BOY' I screamed. She just shook her head. She did the unspeakable. I looked at my poor baby boy. Lindsay got up and ran away. I picked up my baby's body and carried him to Mack. At least my loves would be together.
