For some reason we had an impromptu assembly, turns out it was because Dana and her friend Sasha were missing, well that's what sheriff Donovan said anyways, although Dana did have a habit of running off to party.

"Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our schools, which, unfortunately, is necessary, given recent events. Now, I give you permission to compel them, to gather materials form locator spells, because any information we can get will make all the difference." Uncle Ric tells us making Lizzie stand, "Well, I guess that I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day, because that is what heroes do." Just like uncle Ric I look at my cousin and sigh, "So... I volunteer as tribute." I roll my eyes, this wasn't the hunger games. "She battles one gargoyle, and suddenly, she's Mother Teresa." Hope whispers over to us making me smile slightly as Kaleb and MG volunteer, "I'd like to help." Hope then says also standing causing Kaiara and I to share a shocked glance, that wasn't like Hope. "I'll go too." Kaiara says joining Hope, I wasn't going to though, I couldn't be bothered going to the townie school, although I knew why Kaiara wanted to, because mom went there. I mean maybe I'd break in one night when there weren't any annoying kids there to bother me.

"You know, the wolves usually eat outside." I tell Rafael as he sits beside me, "I'd rather hang with you." I glance up from my book and smile at him, "I didn't see you at the assembly." I note and he nods, "Kind of still figuring my way around this place. Why didn't you ditch like Landon and go play detective?" Well, I couldn't be bothered and I'm actually working on offensive spells for class for Josie and Kie. They only teach defensive magic here, but they think that the curriculum needs to evolve, I mean I agree although I don't care as much as they do, but since my sister isn't here I told her I'd work on it for her." I tell him before noticing the slightly bewildered look on his face, "What?" I ask him with a slight smile. "Oh, nothing." He smiles shaking his head, "What?" I ask again with a small laugh, "I'm still trying to wrap my head around this being a normal conversation here." We both laugh and I nod. "Got it. So... Meaning you're happy to be back?" I ask making him smile at me, "I'll be happy when I know that Landon can stay." I nod understanding how he felt, I'd never stay anywhere Kaiara couldn't. "And then, what if he can't?" I ask a bit quieter.

"Bounce, witch. Rafael and I need to have a little chat." I turn to Jed with questioning eyes, "what did you just say?" I challenge not liking his tone, "I said leave because Rafael and I need to have a chat." He repeats making me look at him in disbelief why did he think that he could talk to me in that way? "Soon as Ari and I are done." Rafael challenges back before I could say anything else, "Actually, newb, I'm your alpha. You're done when I say you're done." I look to Rafael to try and tell him with my eyes not to do anything too drastic, he stands and looks Jed down as he bites into his carrot. "Well, as fun as this hurricane of toxic masculinity has been, it looks like I have to get to class." I say standing between the two before turning to reach for my books, "I'll walk you." Rafael smiles taking my books from my hands, "thanks Raf." I grin ignoring Jed as we walk past him.
