I roll my eyes as we sit in a circle holding hands, "Chain spells are about the fluid movement of energy from witch to witch." Mr Williams tells us as he walks around the circle stopping for a moment, "Where's Penelope Park?" He asks noticing her absence, "Um, lady cramps, Mr Williams." Lizzie tells him, "Sorry I asked." He sighs before continuing with what he was teaching us, "A disharmonious group makes for an uneven flow." I roll my eyes again as I hear my classmates try to stifle their laughter.

"Uh-oh, who's in trouble with the headmaster?" Josie asks as a piece of paper floats its way to Mr Williams, "Probably the people who started a rumble with the local high school." Hope says shooting my cousins a look, I honestly didn't understand why the three of them couldn't get along I knew that if they swallowed their pride they could get along great. "Lizzie Saltzman, Josie Saltzman, Arabella Parker, Kaiara Parker, and baby makes five." He says looking at Hope who looks back surprised, "Off you go." He ushers is as we get up as grab our things.

"This makes no sense, Dad. Why are we being punished?" Lizzie asks uncle Ric, "Because you started a brawl at a charity football game that risked exposing what we really do here." I try and keep my sigh to myself, "Well, you weren't mad last night. I was mad last night." She argues, "My undying love for my daughters just happened to trump my rage. I volunteered everyone in the game, so stop complaining. You're lucky that it's just community service and not actual jail time." Uncle Ric explains.

"Can I at least offer a rebuttal in my defense, if it pleases the court? First of all, I was provoked. My response was totally proportional considering the levels of abuse that I was forced to endure. And secondly... if anyone should take the blame, it's Josie." I look to Lizzie in surprise I can't believe she just threw Josie under the bus. "What?" Josie awks just as shocked as the rest of us: "I'm sorry. I totally cracked under cross, but if you had just let Kaleb catch the ball..." Hope cuts her off, "You'd still be in trouble. But nice job throwing your sister under the bus." Josie looks to Hope in slight surprise, "Thank you, Hope." She says.

"Speaking of, the bus leaves in ten minutes, and I expect all five of you to be on it, the three of you working together today, harmoniously and without drama." Uncle Ric says directing the last part to the three that didn't get along, "Kie and I got on with both parties but I hated getting the middle of their squabbles. "End of debate." He says as they open their mouths ready to argue again.

"I wasn't even at the game. Why am I being punished?" Hope asks, "You know what you did. All right, now, go, all of you. Come on." I look to Hope in interest, "what did you do?" I whisper across to her she looks at me and then back at my cousins, "I'll tell you later." She whispers back. "Arabella hang back a second." Uncle Ric says before I leave the room, "what up?" I ask, "whilst you deserve to be punished with the rest, I need you to do something for me." He says making me nod, at least I wasn't getting punished. "I called Jeremy-" I cut him off, "uncle Jer is in town? Cool." I beam, I loved uncle Jer he was the best. "Yeah but back to what I was saying, in for a favour, to find Landon and Rafael and to bring them back to the school. I need you to go with him so that the boys don't get scared off." He explains, "sure uncle Ric." He grins, "great you just need to take the bus into town and then find him, mr Williams knows so he'll let you go." I nod again, "got it."

A while after I hopped of the bus I found uncle Jer using a locator spell, "hey uncle Jer." I say making him jump as he had been texting on his phone. "Hey kiddo, how've you been?" He grins pulling me into a quick hug, uncle Jeremy was my moms younger brother and my favourite out of her siblings I mean don't get me wrong I loved my aunt Elena but she was a bit boring, besides she was Kaiara's favourite anyways. I just clicked more with Jeremy he was easier to talk to and I loved art just like he did, he had helped me out tons whilst I was growing up.

"School was boring as usual well until these two new kid showed up and then ran away." He nods, "and you've been keeping out of trouble?" He asks making me give him a look. "No, why would I keep out of trouble that's where all the fun is." He laughs and shakes his head in amusement, "right I forgot who I was talking to for a second there, your mom told me about the fight you got into at the football match." I shrug, "I just threw a punch Kaiara's the one who tackled the girl." His eyebrows raise at that, "sweet innocent Kaiara tackled a girl?" I nod, "it was so funny, apparently it's cause she called me a whore." I shrug making uncle Jer nod, "well then I say she got what she deserved." He grins lifting his hand for a high five. "But if your mom asks I told you violence wasn't the answer." He winks making me grin before remembering mom was mad at me.

"Yeah well I don't think mom will be talking to me for a while." I shrug, "you guys had a falling out?" I nod, "over dad again." I tell him, "well your mom saw something special in your dad, something everyone else overlooked, he wasn't all bad Ella." He tells me ruffling my hair, "but uncle Damon said-" he shakes his head, "your uncle Damon is an idiot." I grin, "alright now let's go get those kids back to your school."

Once we find them, we find them unconcious and chained to a tree, uncle Jeremy shoots the man who had them captive with his crossbow, "ooh good shot Pocahontas." I grin watching him shake his head at me, "What have I said about you calling me that?" He asks me, "no to, but uncle Damon was right it's too much fun." He sighs but I see the amusement on his face. "Ok you message Ric that they're safe and l unchain them." I nod and take his phone, unfortunately there was no service where we were so I had to wander around for a small while until I got some. I sent the message and then made my way back.

"werewolf hunter." I hear uncle Jeremy tell them as I make my way back to them, "Is that really a thing?" Rafael asks glancing over at the dead man. "You're new to this. You probably think that being supernatural gives you the upper hand. It doesn't. This world is a scary place for someone like you, especially when you're dumb enough to use your powers in public." Jeremy tells them, "So, what, you go around saving new werewolves or what?" Landon asks, "The name's Jeremy. I've known Alaric since I was a kid, and now I work for him sometimes. He told me to track you and make sure that you stay out of trouble, which, apparently, you suck at." I can't help the small laugh that escapes me at that catching all three of their attention. "Arabella." Rafael smiles in relief not seeming so on edge around Jeremy, "you know him?" He asks me glancing towards Jeremy, "he's my uncle." I shrug, "uncle?" Landon asks, "so you know Mrs Parker?" Uncle Jer nods and smiles, "she's my sister." Landon nods now seeming more at ease.

"Also that note was supposed to scare you to safety." Uncle Jer tells them, "Note?" Rafael questions looking to landon in confusion, uncle Jeremy looks between them, "I'm gonna go grab the shovels. Once we bury the body, I'll bring you both back to school." He tells them, "I'll go with you." I say letting Landon and Rafael have their moment together.

"You wanna help?" Uncle Jer asks me as I stood leaning against the tree watching him and Rafael dig, Landon had been pretty useless and needed to take a break, "I'm good thanks, you seem like you've got it handled." He chuckles and continues on with the digging. I decided to try a spell that I had read about to see if I could clear a hole big enough to hold a body, I had used it a couple times on smaller holes but I feel like I could do it. I had just about enough magic left in the tank.

"You couldn't have done that earlier?" Raf asks as the grave magically clears out nicely. "Didn't know if it would work but what do you know?" After they get the body in they look towards me again, "you wanna?" I shake my head, "mmm no can do, my magic tank is empty." Rafael and Landon look to each other in confusion but uncle Jer nods, "well filling the grave is always the easiest part." He shrugs. "I'll even help out." I grin lifting a shovel from the ground.
