Riley's POV:
The next morning, we both sat in the church without a sound. Maya started tapping the floor with her foot.
"Stop." I slightly whisper.
"Sorry, I'm just bored." She replies
"Why don't you go out and steal?" I say more harshly than I intended.
"Shut up." She says angrily. I was very concerned over our relationship. I grew more depressed day after day. She grew more angry day after day. It wasn't healthy. All of this wasn't healthy. We grew silent all over again.
"You still like me, right?" I break the silence. She looks up at me.
"No."
"I don't blame you."
"I love you, with all my Hart." She winks. "See what I did there?"
"I love you too." I smile and look away.
"Here, why don't we go outside?"
"No thanks."
"Why not?" She frowns.
"I'm very tired."
"You're always tired."
"Sorry."
"Well I'm going out for a walk."
"Have fun."
She frowns once more, gets up, and walks out.

Cory's POV:It was a Saturday. I didn't have work. I had to stay with Auggie while Topanga went to work.
I was in the kitchen making the best possible breakfast for Auggie and Topanga: omelet, mini pancakes, hot cocoa, toast, and jelly.
Topanga came down, holding Auggie's hand. They stared at the dining table, which was filled with food.
"Cory please don't." Topanga shakes her head.
"What?" I ask.
"Don't try to cheer us up. It's not going to work."
"I just thought you guys might like a nice breakfast."
"Fine." Topanga sets Auggie down on his chair and sits in her own. Auggie pushes his plate away.
"Auggie, you're not hungry?" I ask, concerned.
He shakes his head and folds his arms. It killed me that he stopped talking.
