~AUTHORS NOTE~ I know the last chapter wasn't that long but I'm going to start making the chapters longer. This chapter was a little difficult to write, but I hope you guys enjoy it. - G
- It's a Friday Morning-
I just woke up. And I don't really want to go to school today, not because of something specific but just because I'm tired and want to sleep in. I get up, out of bed, and walk towards my mirror that is hanging on my wall from the floor to around my height which was 5'6 Yeah, I know maybe I'm a little short to be a senior in high school. But, then again maybe I'm taller than some other people.
I just stare at myself, for what seemed to be several minutes. So I went to my closet and picked out my outfit for the day. I chose to just wear whatever was the most comfortable. I picked out the blue t-shirt that said 'Be Happy' with a picture of a bumblebee on it and a pair of gray leggings, I also put on my blue sneakers, and topped off the look with my crystal necklace. And no it was not a real crystal.
I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth. I take another look at myself in the mirror and decided to brush my hair. About a minute later, I started walking downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs.
I sit down at the counter, with a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me. I start to munch down on my breakfast. I finish up a few minutes later, and I take my plate to the sink. I thank my mum for making breakfast for me. And I say goodbye. I grab my backpack from the hook in the dining room and walked towards the front door. I open the door and exit my house. I notice that my best friend, Sarah Coleman has been waiting for me for a couple of minutes outside. We walked together to the bus stop and waited for the bus to arrive. Yes, I have my driver's license but I can't afford a car right now, because I'm saving up to help pay for college.
It had been several minutes until the bus finally showed up. Sarah, and I entered the bus along with some other kids from the bus stop that went to our school. Sarah and I sat next to each other on the bus. We usually sit on the fourth seat from the front on the left side. But, today Sophie Miller was already sitting on that seat. Sarah and I just decided to pick a different seat to sit on, because we didn't want to have to deal with talking to Sophie. Now, your probably wondering 'who's Sophie?' Well, she is the school's most popular girl. She is not a fun person to be around.
But that's enough of talking about Sophie Miller.
We find another seat towards the back of the bus, the seat is the third to last on the right side. I put my backpack on the floor. It's the perfect angle to be able to notice that Sophie is talking to her friend, Rachal. Rachal Hemmings. The school's smartest girl. She helps Sophie with getting good grades on her tests.
We finally arrived at Oakwood High, High school. I don't live very far from the school. It's only about a 10-minute bus ride. I grab the backpack that I had put on the floor, and I put it on my back before exiting through the doors near the front of the bus.
We get out of the bus and walk to our lockers. Luckily, our lockers are pretty close to each other. Sarah and I have first period together, so we walk with each other to Pre- Calculus. We arrive one minute before the bell rings.
Sarah and I take our seats. We sit next to each other at the second to last table in the middle of the room on the right side. I kind of like that room, because the walls are painted with 'Whiteboard paint' so you can write on the walls with an expo marker. And there are lots of windows in that room, so the sunlight can really shine through on the nice plants that are on Mrs. Harrison's desk.
"Hello, students. Today we have a new foreign exchange student, he comes all the way from Britain, please welcome Blake Richardson." Mrs. Harrison said. "Hey everyone, hi," Blake says as he does a little waving hand motion to the rest of the class. Blake has these amazing brown eyes that are hypnotizing and brown hair that looked so soft, and he had a nice smile. He looked about 5'9 in height. He was wearing a dark blue shirt with gray sweatpants. And he was wearing white sneakers.
If you were here even you could tell he was a little nervous. He was pretty cute. Not, like 'oh, I love him I'm gonna marry him and we'll live happily ever after' no, not like that. He's just cute. But, he will never notice me. Never in a million years would he notice me.
