"I pick...Blake!" I said. I saw Blake was smiling. "Sorry, bro," he said to Jake and patted him on the back. "It's fine, I'll find that one girl someday, I hope you guys are very happy together, I wish you the best!" Jake said. "Thank you," I said as Blake and I held hands.
Jake walked away, he didn't seem mad at all. I'm glad that he doesn't mind, that I'm now dating his friend. "If this official?" Blake asked. "If you want it to be," I said. "Well, Grace will you be my girlfriend?" Aww! He's so sweet! "Yes, of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I said. Then, we kissed again. Blake took his hand and cupped my cheek and I put my arms around his neck to deepen the kiss.
Several moments passed, and we finally pulled away. "Would you like to dance?" He asked. "I'd love to, but I don't know how..." I said slightly embarrassed. "It's okay, I'll show you," he said. I nodded my head and he held my hand as we walked to the dance floor.
"So, you put your hands here," he began to say while he moved my arms around his neck. "And I put my hands here," he continued while while he moved his hands so that they were on my waist. "And now what?" I asked. "And now, we just sway slowly side to side," he said. I nodded my head and began to slowly sway side to side like he said.
Minutes and minutes had passed, and I looked across the room to see Jake with another girl. Good for him! I'm happy for him even though they might just be friends.
I turned my attention back to Blake. I smiled up at him. He smiled back. He's so cute when he smiles. Well, he's always cute, but he's super cute when he smiles.
"Hey guys," a familiar voice says from behind me. Blake and I turn are attention to the figure behind us. And it's Josh!
"Josh, what do you want?" I asked. "Grace, can I talk to you for a minute?" Josh asked while smirking. "I...umm, I don't know," I said. I know his tricks, if I go with him he'll lock me in a room or something. "Don't worry about it, baby, go talk with Josh, I'm thirsty so I'm going to go get a drink," Blake said. Oh, no! "Okay," I said, trying to be cool. "Great! Follow me," Josh said. I don't like this idea...
