- Friday Night, the night of the dance -

Sarah came over, so we could get ready together. She brought over her dress, makeup, hair supplies, and accessories that we could use. I'm very excited about the dance, although I'm super nervous about who I should pick to be my boyfriend. What if I make the wrong decision? What if I break one of their hearts? I don't like deciding things like this.

Ding dong!

Oh, I guess Sarah's here.

"Come on in, Sarah!" I heard my mum say from downstairs. "Grace is upstairs you can go on up," she continued. "Thanks, Mrs. Walker," I heard Sarah say. My best friend is always so polite, most of the time.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. My bedroom door opened. "Hey, Grace!" Sarah said. "Hey, Sarah!" I said.

She put her stuff down on my bed and walked over to me, she hugged me. I hugged her back. "Oh my gosh, I'm so glad we're both okay!" She said. "Me too," I said, frowning because I didn't want to talk about the accidents.

"Okay, so what are you going to wear tonight to the dance?" Sarah asked me, while changing the subject because she knew I didn't like talking about the accidents. "I was thinking about wearing what I wore for my first date with Jake, I really like that dress," I said. "Awesome! I love that dress too!" She said. "How about you, what are you goin to wear tonight?" I asked her. "I was going to wear this..." she said while showing me the dress she brought over. The dress was a light pink color and it was kind of tan as well. The back was kind of open and it was tied in the back. It was so beautiful. "It's so pretty!" I said. "Thanks," she said. "No problem."

We then went to my bathroom, one person at a time and got into our dresses first. Then, we did our hair and make up. We took some selfies and finished off with a funny one.

Sarah put on her yellow high heels. While I just put on my white converse shoes. I decided that I wanted to wear sneakers instead just in case I needed to kick some clingy guy in the guts.

We finished off the look with some light jewelry.

Then, we walked down the stairs, and our mums were downstairs talking. My mum noticed me and immediately stood up from her chair, she smiled and I actually think she began to cry and so did Sarah's mum, Mrs. Coleman.

"Wow, you girls look so beautiful," my mum said. "Yeah, seriously you girls look stunning!" Mrs. Coleman agreed. "Thank you, both!" I said, "Yeah, thanks, Sarah said. "Well, we better get going," I said. "Alright, have fun, you guys!" Mrs. Coleman said. "We will!" Sarah said.

I know that usually the boy is supposed to drive the girl to the school dance, but since I have two boys to choose from, I can't have both of them drive me, and Sarah and I wanted to go to the dance together. Ashton asked us if we wanted him to drive us but I thought that it might distract Sarah from me. And I understand that he is her boyfriend, but tonight I want to spend the beginning with Sarah before I have to make a very difficult decision. That might change my life.

Which now brings me back to who I should pick.

My thoughts were soon interrupted by Sarah asking me a question. "Wait...Grace how will we get there? We haven't exactly figured that out." She's right we haven't exactly figured that part out. "Can you call Ashton?" I asked. "Okay, I will right now," Sarah said as she dialed his phone number.

It's our only way. I can't call Jake or Blake because then they might think that I'm picking them and then it will just put more pressure on me and I don't want that. After all, Ashton is an amazing boyfriend to Sarah. So, I respect their relationship and I need to show it. Ashton is a good guy.

"Alright, he's on his way," Sarah said. "Okay," I said. Now all we have to do is wait, no problem. It's just a little cold, but he'll be here any moment so it's fine.

Several minutes had passed and he just picked us up. Sarah sat in the passenger's seat, and I sat in the back. Ashton and Sarah were holding hands. Soon, enough we arrived at Oakwood High school.

Well, here it goes...
