The Hospital - Chapter 24

Grace's Mum's POV:

I just woke up, and I went to Grace's room to check on her, and I saw that she wasn't in her room, and her phone was in the trash can. She hasn't been responding to anyone's text messages. I'm worried about her. She could have just gone on a walk, but I don't think that's the case. She actually did send a message to Blake and Jake at 12:06 AM. It says 'Goodbye for good.'

Oh no! Did she actually??

I messaged Sarah's parents and emailed Blake and Jake asking them to come over, I even asked Ashton. We will look for her. We need to find Grace!!!

Everyone came right over. Except, Sarah. She's still in the hospital. And her parents said that she hasn't woken up yet. Hopefully, she does. She means so much to us. Jake's best friend, Liam also volunteered to come over. 

I told everyone about Grace's mysterious disappearance and that the front door was unlocked the alarm was turned off. "I remember turning on the alarm, before I went to sleep," I said. "Did she tell you or Jake anything before she disappeared?" Blake asked. "No, she just ran out of the car, and straight to her room, she even locked her bedroom door. She wouldn't talk to me at all," I said. I'm panicking. I started crying. What happened to her!? Is she okay?? "I found her phone in the trash can in her room," I said.

"I have an idea!" Ashton said. "Okay, what is it?" Jake asked. "What if we go to the woods, maybe she wanted to go for a walk," Ashton continued. "Okay, yes! Maybe, she is there. And hopefully she is okay. Let's go," I said.

Everyone hurried out of the house and into the car. The woods aren't very far, but we would get there faster if we take the car.

We arrived a few minutes later, and we ran out of the car. I locked the car door. We ran into the woods as fast as we could. We noticed footprints that looked fresh and followed them, the footprints led us to a spot. "It looks like someone sat here," Ashton said. "Yes, but the footprints end here, so we must be getting closer," Blake said. "Let's go this way," Jake said as he pointed straight ahead. We agreed and ran faster than before. We can't slow down. If something actually did happen, we need to be quick.

"This is the spot where the incident happened yesterday," Jake said standing near the wall of rock from the incident. Jake looked over the edge of the cliff and saw something. "I see something," he said as he squinted his eyes to try and see better. "Oh my gosh!! It's Grace!!!" Jake said. "Go! Go! Go!" Ashton said. "I'm calling 911, right now!" Sarah's dad shouted. Everyone ran as fast as they could. "GRACE!!!" Ashton screamed. "Grace!!" Blake yelled. "Grace, wake up!! Come on!!!" Jake screamed. Everyone was yelling. "GRACE!!!" I was shouting and I couldn't stop crying. We ran so fast, I thought I was going to faint. Everyone was crying just like when this happened with Sarah.  Ashton was even crying. "GRACE!!" Hayden shouted.

We finally got to the bottom of the cliff, and we saw her surrounded in some red water. "Nooooo!!" I shouted. "We don't know for sure that she's gone, though," Sarah's mum tried to calm me down, and not make me freak out. She understood how I felt, because of what happened yesterday with Sarah. I continued crying. Blake, Ashton, Hayden, and Jake all ran into the water, and they sprinted and ran as fast as they could to go get her.

"GRACE!!!" Blake yelled. "Grace, Grace, wake up!!" Ashton said. "Come on, Grace," Jake said. "Please!!" Hayden said. "No, no, no! She's not waking up," Hayden said. They all looked at each other. "Guys! Let's turn her over!" Ashton said. Jake and Ashton turned Grace over. "She's not breathing!!!" Blake shouted. "911 is on their way here! They'll be here any minute!" Sarah's dad said. "We need to get her to land," Hayden said. They all carried Grace over to the ground. Her forehead had some small cuts, and her leg was hurt pretty bad. Her arms had cuts on them as well.

Soon after, the paramedics arrived. They put Grace on a gurney and brought her to the hospital. I went with the paramedics to the hospital and they hooked Grace up to some equipment. All of the boys wanted to check in on Grace, so they came to the hospital, and she hasn't woken up. Later, I went home because visiting hours were over.

Sarah's parent's said that Sarah hasn't woken up either.

--The Next Morning--

Still Grace's mum's POV:

I just got a message from the hospital. It says: Mrs. Walker, I'm so severely sorry. But, I have to inform you that Grace is in a coma. I'm so sorry. And, I heard that Grace's friend, Sarah is also in the hospital, she also has a coma, I have already informed her parent's as well. We are giving her lots of antibiotics. You may visit Grace at our visiting hours but no sooner. Again, I'm so sorry. - Oakwood Hospital.

Grace and Sarah are in the hospital and they both have a coma!
