The rest of the day seemed like a blur. And it keeps getting closer to 7:30. Earlier, I asked my mum if she could go to Blake's house to have dinner with his family and I. She said that she couldn't because she had some work to be done. I am in my bedroom just hanging out and I was on the phone with Sarah a little while ago. I told her my plans for tonight and she said to have fun.

It is now 7:15 and I grabbed some notes from our Physics class, and a Binder off of my desk, and put them into my backpack. I put the backpack on and started walking downstairs.

As I walked out of the front door, I took my ponytail down, I wanted to have my hair down instead. And my mum was going to give me a lift. We got into the car and started driving. The drive was mostly silent but we talked a little.

About 10 minutes later, we had arrived at Blake's house. It was now 7:25. We're just on time. My mum drops me off, and I get out of the car and start walking towards the front door of his house. I wave goodbye to my mum and she waves back.

I'm about to knock on the door.

I'm nervous, I just met this boy yesterday and I'm already meeting his parents, wow.

I finally decided to knock. Blake answers the door.

"Hey, Blake," I said. "Hey, Grace. You're right on time, come on in." He said. "Thanks," I say, as I walked in. "Sorry, my mum couldn't make it. She had to work because she is a teacher," I said. "Don't worry about it, you have nothing to apologize for. It's fine," he said.

Once I walk in, I am greeted by Blake's parents. "Nice to meet you, darling," said Blake's mum. "Hello, Grace, we're so glad you could make it," said Blake's dad. "Thank you, and it's nice to meet you too, Blake's parents," I said. "Grace, please, you can call me Esme," Said Blake's mum. "And you can call me Ryan," Said Blake's dad. "Ok, Esme and Ryan" I nodded. "Here, Darling I can take your bag, I'll leave it on the stairs for you to get once we're done eating, okay?" Said Blake's mum. "Yes, thank you," I said. "Your Welcome."

"Well, why don't we sit down at the table and eat" Said Esme. "Yes, of course, let's eat," said Blake. "Okay, I'm hungry" I laughed quietly. And Blake guided me to the dining room. "Your house is so nice," I said. "Thank you so much, Grace." "Your welcome," I said.

We all sat down at the table. And there were so many delicious foods to eat. From Shepherd's pie to mashed potatoes, to Yorkshire Pudding and to pigs n' blankets. Such an original. I gazed at the scene. And I was so happy that I got to eat dinner with Blake and his family. Not just because I like Blake, but because he is a good guy, he's nice and he seems so chill and cool to be around.

I take my plate, and put mashed potatoes on my plate first, along with some pigs n' blankets.

After about 15 or 20 minutes, once everyone was finished eating, Blake's parents cleared off the table while Blake and I went to begin to work on our project upstairs.

Blake and I agreed. We started walking towards the stairs, and I grabbed my backpack. He led me upstairs to his room, where we will work on our project. He opened the bedroom door and his walls were blue, and there we're posters of bands on the walls as well, and he has a desk, and a guitar was in the corner of his room, and his room is not the most organized. But I'm okay with it. Because it wasn't disgusting or anything. His room actually smelled pretty good, I don't know what the smell was, but it was like a British smell.

He closed the door behind us. And I put my backpack down. I took out the physics notes and binder from class. Then I asked him "So what should we do for the project?" I asked. "Hmm, maybe we could do a presentation about Atoms and Molecules, I remember learning that the most back in London." He suggested.

I smiled. He smiled back at me. And I think I was blushing. But I couldn't tell.

"Yeah, let's do Atoms and Molecules, and what part of London are you from?" I said. "I'm from Yorkshire," He said. "That's so cute," I said. "What?" He said. "Oh, uh nothing," I said. Wow, way to go, Grace. Note the sarcasm.

I blush more as I hear more and more of his accent.

"How do you want to start the project?" I said changing the subject since it was getting a little quiet. "Maybe, we could make a poster by drawing Atoms, Molecules, protons, neutrons, and electrons." He suggested. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," I said. "Thanks," He said. "Your Welcome."

We grab some plain white paper out of my backpack and some markers, and we start drawing circles with letters inside them representing what they are.

I take a purple marker, and I start drawing an 'A' for Atoms in one of the circles when Blake was drawing an 'M' for Molecules in another. His hand accidentally touched mine, and we looked at each other.

My blue eyes looking into his gray eyes was very nice.

"Oh, sorry," Blake says. "Blake, don't worry about it, it's fine," I said. "Grace, you can call me Blakey if you want, I know it might sound weird but that's what my family calls me," "Okay Blakey," I said as I blush.  I think he noticed that I was blushing, cause he moved a strand of my hair out of my face and behind my ear. I smiled, and he smiled back.

"Hey, Blakey," I started to say. "Yeah, Grace?" He said in his cute British accent. "I think I should tell you something." "Okay, what is it?" he said. "So, I know that it's pretty soon, and we just met and all, but when I saw you yesterday I couldn't stop looking at you, it was like you were the only other person in the room. Blake..." I paused for a moment, not knowing what would happen once I told him.

Just say it, Grace, just tell him that you like him.

"I like you," I continued. I wasn't looking at him now. I was nervous. It looked like he was blushing too. "Grace," he paused. "I like you too," he continued. "You do?" I asked. "Yes, when I first saw you I was like 'wow, she's really pretty'," Blake said.  My face got a little red from blushing so much. "Wait, you think I'm pretty?" I asked. "Yes, of course, I do," he said.  "But..." I started to say. "But what?" "But, I'm ugly..." I continued. And I looked away from Blake. I was now looking at the floor. "Grace, look at me." He said. I didn't look at him. "Grace," he put his hand on my chin and he made me face him. "Your beautiful," he continued. "Really?" I asked. "Yes," he said. "Thank you so much." "Your Welcome," he said.

Our heads started leaning in closer and closer until our noses almost touched. He put his hands on my waist and he kissed me. I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

Wow, I can't believe this is happening right now.

I just kissed the foreign exchange student.

Let me just repeat myself, in case I wasn't that clear...

Blake and I kissed. We kissed.
