The rest of the day, Sarah and I tried to figure out why Blake was acting so weird.
When the day came down to just Physics class left, we started walking toward the class. The only other people there were Blake, Ashton, Jake, Sophie, and Mrs.Ilkeman. They were all just sitting in their seats. And Mrs.Ilkeman was sitting at her desk.
Sarah and I sat in our original seats. I looked over at Blake and noticed he was talking to Ashton. Sarah looked around the room and saw that Jake was looking at me. Sarah nudged my arm and whispered, "Grace, Jake is looking at you." I blushed and looked at Jake.
Jake and I exchanged smiles.
Jake starts walking over to me. He opens his mouth as if he is about to say something, but is soon interrupted by Hayden Parker. His new best friend, Hayden showed Jake around the school when he first got to Oakwood High, then they quickly became mates.
Hayden grabs Jake's arm and turns him around, as they start walking away.
"Students, I would just like to ask how your projects are going," Mrs. Ikleman said. Of course, Sophie was the first one to answer, "Yes, of course. Jake and I are almost finished with our project. We decided to make a Volcano representing a chemical reaction." Jake looked at me again.
What is going on? I'm kind of confused.
I was starting to get kind of suspicious because Jake would not keep his eyes off of me. I whispered to Sarah that I was getting suspicious. She glanced over at Jake and then Jake turned around, so he was now facing Mrs. Ikleman who was at the front of the room.
Then, I gazed over at Blake, who was now looking at me. Sarah nudged my arm again and told me that Jake was still looking at me. I looked over at Jake again, and he smiled, I smiled back. I looked at Blake again and he smiled and I smiled back.
"You have to choose one of them," Sarah said.
"But I barely know them."
"Then get to know them, because there are two boys that seem very into you," she continued.
"But...don't know how," I muttered under my breath.
Sarah then whispered to me "Looks like you're in a love triangle."
I think Sarah might be right. I need to choose one.
But who?
