I showed Sarah the note. She thought that either Blake or Jake had written it, but she's not quite sure who. I grabbed my backpack and stuff, and Sarah, Ashton, and I went to the bus. We went towards the back of the bus, Blake joined us about a minute later. Ashton and Sarah sat across the aisle from Blake and I. I pulled out the letter and showed Blake. "Blake, did you write me this love letter?" I asked. "Yes," he said. Aww, wait for a second! The letter said 'I love you' does he actually love me? I should ask him. "Aww, that's so sweet!" I said. "Thanks," he said. "Your welcome," I said. "So, do you actually mean what you said, that you love me?" I asked. Sarah and Ashton were now curious about the conversation and were listening as well. "Yes, of course! I meant all of those three words I said." He smiled. I smiled back. He is super sweet! He took my hand, so we were now holding hands. We let go a few minutes later. I looked over to Sarah and Ashton. They were laughing and talking. Obviously, they were talking about something funny, cause Ashton wouldn't stop laughing. His laugh was actually pretty adorable. His laugh is definitely contagious. His brown hair and bright blue eyes really lit up a room.
The rest of the bus ride we just talked and laughed. Then, about 20 minutes later, we arrived at the aquarium. Blake took my hand, and we got up from our seats and the teachers led all the sophomores into the aquarium. Once we got inside, Blake and I let go of holding hands.
"Alright students, we are in the presence of mammals, so please try and keep your voices at a decent volume. You don't have to whisper, just don't yell or be too loud. What we're going to do first is, some students have prepared physics projects about something that they learned this year. And then after the presentations of the projects, you can all make your own groups, not leaving anyone feeling left out, and go explore the aquarium for an hour and us, teachers will be waiting right here the whole time," Mrs. Harrison announced. Blake, Ashton, Sarah and I smiled at each other. Blake and I volunteered to present first to get it out of the way. "Blake Richardson and Grace Walker, you're up!" Said Mrs. Harrison. Blake and I walked up in front of all the juniors and teachers, and Blake got out our project from his backpack. "We chose to make our project about Atoms and Molecules," I said. "Now you're probably wondering, What makes atoms different from one another? Well, let's take a look at hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen, they are the four most common elements in the solar system." I continued. Blake pointed to the pictures and paragraphs on our project. "Now let's take a look over here," Blake began to say pointing to a picture of atoms and molecules. "How many atoms are in a molecule? The answer is 2 atoms. A molecule is a group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds. So, the minimum is 2 atoms are required to form a molecule." Blake said. "Thank you, Blake and Grace, for that awesome project!" Mrs. Ikleman, our physics teacher said. "Yes, yes, very good indeed!" Mrs. Harrison agreed. The other students in our physics class, Ashton, Hayden, Jacob, Harper, Sarah, and Olivia all presented their projects. Jake is in our physics class, but he isn't a senior so he wasn't supposed to join us on the field trip as well as his physics partner, Sophie. About 30 minutes later, we were all allowed to go explore the aquarium in groups with whoever we wanted to, as long as we don't leave anyone out.
Ashton, Sarah, Blake, and I all went to the Dolphin Dive area. We sat down on the bleachers. There was a show and it was about 30 minutes long, it began about 2 minutes after we got to the Dolphin Dive room. Blake and I held hands, and I leaned my head into his shoulder, Ashton and Sarah held hands as well. The divers and trainers got out a ball and threw it in the water, the dolphin went and fetched it like a dog fetching a stick. It was so cool. We saw a few other seniors at the dolphin show. The trainers dived into the pool and the dolphins smiled and splashed the water. They swam in circles and played with the toys that the divers gave them.
The show ended, and we left the room. Mrs. Harrison said we had an hour to explore the aquarium so watching the dolphin show was half of our time exploring. "That was so cool," I said. "Yeah, I loved how the dolphins smile a lot," Ashton said. "Yeah," Blake said. "I liked the part where the dolphin did a trick and then splashed back into the water," Sarah said. "Yeah, that was so cool!" I said. We walked around for the rest of the time that we had left, just exploring and reading facts about jellyfish and other sea animals. We all went back to where the teachers were waiting for us. "I'll be right back, one second," Blake said. "Okay," I said. I'm a little confused. "Where did Blake go?" Sarah asked me. "He told me he'd be right back, I'm guessing he's going to the bathroom," I said. "Oh, okay," Sarah said. A few minutes later, Blake came back. His hands were behind his back, I'm not really sure what's going on. "Grace, I got you something," He said while handing me a ring that says 'B + G'. "Oh, my Guacamole! Blake this is so sweet!!" I said. He took my hand and put the ring on my finger. "Thank you, I tried my best," Blake said. "Well, it definitely paid off, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said. I guess I wasn't really acting cool. "Your welcome, your welcome, your welcome," Blake said while chuckling. Ashton, Sarah, and I laughed back.
The teachers and seniors all started walking back to the bus, we all entered the bus and sat in the same seats that we sat in when we first arrived at the aquarium. Blake held my hand, and I was tired. "I'm tired," I said while yawning. "Why don't you fall asleep, you can take a nap on the bus," Blake said. "Okay," I said smiling. Blake smiled too.
I fell asleep next to Blake, with my head on his shoulder. I was actually very comfortable. Blake had his arm around me as well, which was nice. Sarah was happy for me, I could tell. She seemed like she was very happy with Ashton. She's happy for me hanging out with Blake, and I'm happy that she and Ashton are together. And it's cool how Blake and I are hanging out, and Ashton and Blake are friends. So, that's pretty cool.
We arrived back at the school, and Blake woke me up, by kissing me on the cheek. I smiled. He smiled back. He took my hand and helped me up. We walked to the school, and I grabbed some stuff from my locker and then told him I needed to go home. He agreed, and we said our goodbyes. He kissed me on the lips, and then waved goodbye, I waved back.
This was a very successful day. But, now I have to go shopping again with my mum today, for my first date with Jake tomorrow.
Huh, I wonder what I'm going to wear!?
