I woke up. And realized that today is the day where Blake and I are hanging out at his house. So I get up and go to my closet and pick out my outfit. I decided to wear my black shirt that said 'Dream Big' on the right side and ripped jean shorts. And I put on my blue sneakers again.

I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth. I looked at my reflection and decided to brush my hair, and put it up into a ponytail. I made my bed and I went downstairs.

"Morning mum," I said as I sat down at the counter. "Morning Grace, do you want some cereal for breakfast today?" My mum said. "Sure." My mum handed me a box of Chex Mix Cereal and I got a bowl from the cabinet and a spoon. As I start to pour the cereal into a bowl, my mum starts talking to me.

"So, Grace do you have any plans for today?" "Yes, actually. I'm going over to the new foreign exchange student's house to work on our project for physics."

"Okay, what's her name?" My mum asked. "They're a boy, and his name is Blake," I said while I pour the milk into the bowl. "That's a nice name, do you know where he is from?" my mum asked. "Yeah, he's from England, he's British and when he speaks to me his voice is so amazing and cute, and when he says my name it's just so adorable. And yesterday, he called me 'lovely' and not as an adjective but as a nickname" I said. "Aww, that's sweet," Said my mum. "Yeah, it was," I said.

I took my phone out of my back pocket, and I decided to text Blake because I didn't know what time I was supposed to go over to his house. '

Hey, it's Grace. What time should I come over later to work on our physics project?' I start eating my breakfast.

I get a reply. Wow, a reply already, cool.

It says: Hey, lovely. Can you come over around, maybe 7:30 pm? He said.

I replied saying: Yeah, that sounds good. I'll have dinner and then come over.

Then, we started talking a little more.

Blake: If you want, you are welcome to join us for dinner, and your parents can come along if they'd like.

Grace: Are you sure? I don't want to interfere or anything. And my dad is on a business trip because he is a pilot, so I barely get to see him so he wouldn't be able to make it.

Blake: You won't be interfering at all. Trust me. And I'm sorry about that.

Grace: Ok, thanks and I'm fine, don't worry.

Blake: Ok, that's good. So are you gonna come over for dinner?

Grace: Sure, why not. And I'll ask my mum if she wants to go, she probably can't though because of working.

Blake: Okay, Can't wait.

Grace: Neither can I.
