AFTER WAITING FOR STEFAN TO return to Gloria's bar, the witch had used Rebekah to try and locate the necklace with no such luck. She had found it but couldn't place the exact location. The others had dispersed to get some food, needing a break. After a lot of arguing, Keziah had managed to persuade Nik to take her to McDonalds. Nik was not happy at all, not wanting to be caught by his enemies in a children's fast food. They had argued about it the whole time inside.

Once they had reached the warehouse, Keziah had sat somewhere else, not wanting to watch them feast on their prey. She definitely did not want to ruin her Big Mac meal. However, she wasn't entirely alone. Her imaginary friend only she could see, Kol, was sat opposite her. He was watching her curiously. Why was she the only one who could see him? Rebekah and Nik had some ideas, but they wouldn't tell her yet, not until they were sure. They wanted to know if anything else changed.

Keziah sipped at her strawberry milkshake, wondering if she could touch him. Slowly, she raised her hand, palm up, as his did the same. Her heart was racing with anticipation, hoping it would work. With their hands only millimetres apart, the nerves were starting to get the best of her.

"Rosie!" Nik shouted, frightening her. Keziah screamed and dropped the milkshake all over her.

"Fucking hell, Nik. Could you be any less obvious?" She mused, attempting to remove the milkshake from her top with napkins.

"Sorry, love." He laughed, coming to stand in front of her, only to laugh at the sight of her shirt. "What were you doing?"

"Trying to see if I could touch Kol."

"He appeared again?"

"Yep, and now he's gone." She couldn't deny, she was slightly upset about it. There was something comforting when he was around. "What did you want anyway?"

"Wanted to see how you were coming along with your magic?"

Keziah's eyes sparkled at the idea of performing magic, after being forced to not do it for years. To be denied what she really was after all this time, she could only rejoice in the fact that she could finally do it. "One second, let me change and I'll show you my favourite spell as a kid." She ran over to the bathroom, grabbing some new clothes.

Keziah returned, instead of a milkshake covered top, she wore a black bodysuit with denim shorts. "Are you ready to be wowed?" She smirked. Rebekah had now joined Nik on the sofa, watching with interest.

Keziah breathed in, focusing and siphoning a bit of magic from the necklace. "Invisique." She mumbled, instantly turning invisible to Nik and Rebekah. She smiled as they looked astounded. She walked around until she was directly behind them and flicked Rebekah's hair.

"Absolutely brilliant. I can't even hear you move." They were turning their head trying to figure out where she was.

After showing them her party trick, Nik had gone to check on the witch, leaving Rebekah and Keziah to do whatever they wanted. They had ventured back into the main area of the warehouse and found Stefan looking at the coffins.

"You're back. Finally. Nik went to check on the witch." Rebekah eyed the coffin, Stefan previously had his hand on before he removed it. "Dreary, isn't it? The family cargo."

"Hmm. Why don't you undagger them?" Stefan queried.

"Because he would hunt me down and kill me. He's a vindictive little bastard, my brother."

"But you still care about him. Why?"

"Well, I hated him for a long time. It was exhausting."

"You know, when I met you two, you were both on the run."

"Also exhausting."

"Who were you running from?"

"What do you mean?"

"Last time I saw you, there was a man looking for you. You both seemed afraid. I just... I wouldn't think Klaus would be afraid of anybody."

"No one in this world is truly fearless, Stefan. Not even Niklaus.

"Who was that man?"

Keziah noticed the nervous look in Rebekah, they met each other's gaze, and Keziah softened. "I can't. Please." She felt for the girl. Rebekah stood up and headed towards Keziah.

"Just forget I asked. Okay?"

"He told me about the girl you loved. The one that died. He also told me that you're only with him because he saved your brother."

"It's true."

"I think he secretly admires that about you. You'd sacrifice anything for family. Don't tell him I told you that."

"Your secret... is safe with me."

Keziah couldn't help but look away as Rebekah pulled Stefan in for a kiss. This is awkward.

"Do you think you'll ever love anyone like you loved that girl?" Rebekah asked.

"One day, maybe."

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan."

"What? I'm not..."

"Don't bother. Your kiss already gave you away."

Nik chose the perfect time to interrupt the moment by storming into the room, glaring. "Gloria's gone. She's cleared out. We need to find a new witch immediately." He stopped and looked out at the tense atmosphere between Rebekah and Stefan. "What's going on?"

"Something's wrong. He was asking about Mikael. He's not with us, Nik. I can sense it." Rebekah urged.

"She's wrong. Klaus..." Stefan defended, only for Klaus to rush over and snap his neck.

"Thank god, he was getting on my nerves." Keziah said. No matter what she still hated Stefan.

"He's always on your nerves." Rebekah rolled her eyes. "He's holding back, he's holding onto something."

"Someone he loves." Keziah thought out loud. She'd been told all about the curse placed on Nik and what he did to break it. She'd bet that this is why his hybrids had failed. "I'm gonna bet that Elena is still alive."
