"THIS FAMILY MAKES ME WANT TO MURDER PEOPLE." Klaus expressed as picked up a statue and slammed it against some wood in frustration.

It was that moment, that Kol Mikaelson chose to walk into the parlour of the compound. He was a nervous wreck, bags under his eyes exposing his exhausted state. "I see my timing is impeccable as usual."

Klaus turned around and looked at him appalled. "Well, the traitor just thinks he can waltz in here like he's welcome!"

Rebekah stepped forward in her new body, growling furiously at Kol. "As gracious as your apology better be, you're still getting one hell of a slap!"

Rebekah lunged forward but Kol backed up holding a hand out in front of him in defence. "Wait! Wait. I understand the irony of what I'm about to say, but I came here because I need your help."

Klaus let out a boisterous laugh, whilst Rebekah only seemed to become angrier. "Figure out how to do your wicked little body swap, and then we can talk about help." Rebekah spat at her sibling.

Kol was frantic, he had never been this frantic before in his life. "Look, you don't understand, Nik. Finn has locked me in this body – no more jumping. He's put a curse on me, Nik. I am dying."

Klaus raised his eyebrows in amusement, as Rebekah crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

But no one had noticed Keziah walk into the compound as he spoke. No one noticed as she froze in the entrance to the parlour at hearing Kol's words. At hearing that he was dying, again. She was too shocked to move.

"You don't believe me."

"Well, you're hardly the champion of truth telling."

"Of course, why would a brother expect his siblings to leap to his aid?"

Klaus scoffed, "Oh, spare me the pity party, Kol! Your recent actions merit a certain allowance for disbelief."

"Look, I know what I've done!" He turned to face Rebekah. "But I won't apologise for trying to pull one over on you, Bex. You deserved it! But I don't deserve to die! I can't leave Keziah again."

Klaus yanked on Kol's arm and spun him until they were face to face. "What kind of con are you playing?"

"The kind I hate the most, the truth." Kol jerked himself out of Klaus' hold and reluctantly met his gaze.
