KEZIAH ROSE WAS IN A GOOD MOOD. Last night, Kol and her had talked for ages. How she lived in New Orleans' when she was a child and moved to Mystic Falls once her coven kicked her out. How her parents were never around as they despised her. Kol had talked about all his favourite places when he travelled throughout the centuries. Keziah had also updated him on the technology of today, he was fascinated that a phone could take photos.

She felt like dancing again. She made her way to the empty room, that she treated as her dancing space. It was big enough to run around in and do whatever she wanted. She could do anything. Her phone was hooked up to the speaker, she pressed play on a song, and felt the music. It guided her actions.

Keziah soon fell into her imagination, she knew the song, every beat, every lyric, so that the choreography she was improvising flowed perfectly. She did notice when Kol walked into the room and stood to the side watching, but she continued. She had an end point in mind, and it seemed that he was enjoying watching.

She finished the dance and Kol rushed over, helping her up from the floor where she ended. The sparks tingled from where their hands met. She would never get over that feeling.

"So that's what dancing has evolved into now?" Kol questioned, his eyebrow raised. He didn't let go of her hand.

"That and a lot more." Keziah laughed, knowing about all the dance styles. He would be shocked. They smiled at each other for a while, taking in each other's company.

"We're throwing a ball tonight. Will you accompany me?" Kol actually looked worried that she would say no.

"I would love to." She couldn't be happier. Would this class as their first date?

"Do you need a dress? I can go and compel one for you." He handed her the invite from his pocket. That would get her inside.

"I've got one." There was a ballgown dress sat in her wardrobe for this exact reason. Her parents always made sure she had one, if she needed to make an appearance at one of theirs one day. Although that never happened.

"I'll see you tonight, darling." He pecked her cheek and left the room. Unknown to him, Keziah went red in the face. A giddy look on her face, as she touched the cheek he kissed. She could still feel it.
