WAKING UP BESIDE SOMEONE WAS TERRIFYING. After spending a year without someone by her side, Keziah wasn't used to it. So, when she did wake up, she knocked Kol out of the bed straight away before she realised it was him. He groaned in pain and she immediately apologised multiple times. All it took was a make out session for him to forgive her.
Keziah sat on a chair in the courtyard as Kol and Davina worked on a spell to protect Cami from Esther's magic. She would have helped but they seemed to have it handled.
"Proteger sa scandalum subsisto se pa toi inquia subsist l'ecoulement. Subsisto venenatis impedit l'ecoulement." They chanted together as they dipped the poppet into the cauldron.
"It's finished, but I'm afraid it's not enough to protect Cami's body from Esther's magic." Davina glumly stated.
"Well I think we deserve some lunch, then we try something else." Keziah announced after hearing her stomach rumble.
"Darling, I know something much better we can do than lunch..." Kol hinted at with a twinkle in his eyes looking right at her.
"You can take this seriously, or I can lock you in a coffin like your brother Finn, if you prefer." Marcel strode into the courtyard, unamused and glaring at Kol.
"No, no. I'd prefer you to bugger off, because this spell needs time to cook in peace." Kol retorted.
"Cami doesn't have time. Esther can jump anybody into her body right now."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but she's not going to jump anybody. She's going to jump Rebekah, who just happens to be miles away. But, fair dues, Marcel, I think I'd be a bit testy, too, if my old ex was about to jump into my new ex. I think that would be a bit, uh..."
"Awkward?" Cami appeared and made her opinion known.
"I was going to say kinky, but..."
Angry, Marcel sped over to Kol and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. He was ready to throttle him until Cami stepped in and pulled Marcel away. "I appreciate the chivalry, Marcel, but he'll have an easier time protecting me if he's alive."
"I have a better solution. Why don't I just suck the magic right out of Esther? I siphon all the magic and she's dead, problem solved!" Keziah voiced, standing up and placing herself in between Kol and Marcel.
