TO SAY KEZIAH WAS SURPRISED WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. She didn't expect to receive a text from Caroline to come and celebrate her funeral, rather than her birthday. She thought the others didn't want her around. And she was right.

As soon as she was noticed, eyes were rolled and sounds of disdain were made. She stepped inside the Fell crypt and stood off to the side. Caroline immediately ran over and pulled her into a hug. "Happy...death day?" Keziah asked confused at what they were actually celebrating.

"That's right. We said goodbye to my old life so I can move on with this immortal one." Caroline said, a sing song to her tone.

"I bought Vodka." Kez warily smiled. Elena was sending her the deathliest glare she could muster.

Caroline's eyes lit up at the sight. "Perfect. Now we have plenty of alcohol to go around." Her eyes narrowed in on everyone else. "Look. Keziah has been our friend for years; we were wrong to leave you out of everything going on and especially the compulsion. But you're here now. That's what matters. Right guys?"

Elena scoffed dramatically. "Suree..." She drawled out.

"You got something you wanna say Elena?" They all flinched in shock from Keziah's boldness. She would have never done this before. She would sit back and take it, thinking she was always in the wrong. Not this time. She knew better now.

"For all we know, you're working for Klaus. Sent here to spy on us. You betrayed us." Elena paused for a dramatic effect, her hand going to her chin in a thinking pose, a lightbulb going off in her head. "You guys are so banging each other."

Keziah couldn't even stop the loud laugh that she released. She stepped towards Elena and snatched the bottle of tequila from her hands and took a drink. Her eyes sharpened on hers. "Me betraying you guys? More like you all betrayed me. Using both your lovers to compel me. You betrayed me when you took away my free will. That's not friendship. I don't follow Klaus' rules. He lets me do whatever I want. He understands friendship more than you ever could."
