"JUST KILL ME PLEASE."

Kol Mikaelson's heart broke into pieces hearing his soulmate begging for death. He wanted nothing more than to rip Marcel Gerard apart for putting his Keziah through hell. She lived in hell, tortured by the devil for over five years. She had no grip on reality. She thoroughly believed she was still in hell.

It had taken all of them to sit her in a car. She was shaking, tears still pouring from her eyes. Kol was cradling her in his arms, yet she still didn't believe he was real. She didn't believe any of them were real. The Mikaelson's were all sending her looks of pity as they drove on.

When they passed a gas station, Rebekah told them to pull over so that she could get Keziah out of her mangy clothes. Maybe wearing something different would help her. She pulled her into the clothes store next to the gas station and pushed her into the changing room with some clothes she knew that would suit the Heretic.

And it seemed to work, only slightly, Keziah had stopped crying. However, she kept looking around everywhere expecting Cade to pop up at any second. They got back into the car and continued driving. All the vampires were on edge. They needed blood urgently, having been deprived for years.

"There. We'll take them." Elijah pointed from the front seat to the convict bus ahead of them.

Hayley overtook the bus, and suddenly pulled to a stop making the bus swerve to the side and stop for safety. There was no one else on the road, so the vampires all got out and set about to feeding.

Freya stood back letting them quench their thirst.

Before Keziah could run off, unexpectedly, feeling her hunger, Kol grabbed her hand and pulled her to face him. His thumb rubbed their back of her hand soothingly, as his other hand brushed her hair behind her ear and rested on her cheek. She looked into his eyes, nervous, and bouncing on the balls of her feet.

"Darling, I know that you think you're still in Hell. But I want you to know that I will be here for you. I'll be waiting for you to come back to me, always. No matter how long it takes, I will wait for you." Kol said with meaning. It was the truth. "Now come on, let's get some blood in you."

Kol smiled and pulled her along towards the bus where his siblings were already satisfying their hunger.

Keziah followed behind Kol. Her eyes were drawn to the sight of blood and when she breathed in that was all she could smell. The veins under her eyes appeared and her mouth stung as she felt her fangs elongate. It had been too long since she had last had blood.

She latched onto the first prisoner in sight and bit into his neck. Her victim screamed but was soon silence has his life left him. But that wasn't enough she wanted more. More and more blood. She had gone through three prisoners and that still wasn't enough. There was only one prisoner left and Kol was chasing him through the woods.

"I admit, I do like a good chase. However, I am quite famished so." Kol bit into his prisoner and he let out a loud scream.

Keziah had sped up behind him and Kol pulled away from his neck. "I am willing to share, doll." He stepped aside and let Keziah take her pick.

She walked forward and bit into the left side of the prisoner's neck. Kol smiled at the sight of her and proceeded to bite into the right. One his arms rested comfortably on her waist as they both drank from the screaming prisoner.

"Kol, would you please?!" They heard Elijah shout from the distance.

At his words the couple finished the prisoner off, silencing him. Keziah let go of the human and turned to face Kol, the first small smile on her face.

His thumb went to the corner of her lip and wiped away the excess blood. She immediately pulled his thumb into her mouth and sucked the blood. She didn't know what made her do it, but Keziah jumped into his arms and pressed her lips to his.

She felt at home as she did. Kol was always her safe haven. She could taste the blood on his lips and that only made her press her lips onto him harder. He responded back and gripped onto her hair with one hand and the other her waist. God, had he missed this. He wasn't going to ever let her go. Not now not ever. Every time it got good between them, something bad always happened, and it most likely ended up with him dying. Not this time. He wasn't going to die anymore.

She pulled away and rested her forehead against his. "Pinch me." She whispered.

"Come again, doll."

"Pinch me."

And so, he did. Kol pinched her waist and she looked around. "Darling?"

"I'm waiting for Cade to pop out and snatch this away from me. Cause I know he will. It was his favourite form of torture. Tricking me into believing that you were real, that you were there to save me only to have it crash and burn in seconds." She sighed. She really wanted this to be real, she couldn't take it if it wasn't.

"Keziah, doll. I promise you I am the real deal. I am not going anywhere."

"Okay. I'm sorry if I get jumpy or anything."

"There is no need to apologise, doll. You've been through a lot and I'll be here for you whenever you're ready to talk."
