([Gore warning] I don't know if I'm messed up to say medieval torture is interesting, but wow they had so many ways for some reason.)

He growled at NPG, who went and sat the metal device on the table. He looked at everything on the table, then at a pyramid. "If that won't get you to talk, then maybe we should try this, huh Grian?"

Grian's smile grew as he grabbed EX's chains and yanked them to make EX sit up. The blonde led EX to the pyramid, setting him on it and attaching a harness, which had four tight chains that stuck to wood, to his middle. "Are you still going to refuse?"

EX hissed as his legs were locked in set of cuffs attached to something infront of him and stuck split open, then a button was pressed as he was forced onto the pyramid. "You're only going to hurt more for god knows how long if you don't talk."

EX threw his head back, refusing to let himself show any weakness. "Aww, are you in pain? Is the toughy wuffy widdle Xavier in pain?"

EX opened an eye and glared at Grian, a tear slipping out of it as he felt himself begin to rip apart again. "You see that, NPG? Xavier is crying!"

EX couldn't figure a way to respond as he felt the ripping go up his back again and felt blood pour out the slits of the rips, the pyramid getting soaked with the blood as he tried to muffle a scream of pain.

Grian and NPG continued to mock him as he shook on the pyramid, calling him slurs and saying things in an attempt to destroy what was left of his pride.

He felt himself slip out of consciousness again and woke back up in the bed, the phantom pains snaking up his bones, in his legs and up his back. Grian quickly got his hands back into restraints and held him down, the albino quivered under him, weakly struggling. "He's getting weak NPG, he's bound to talk!"

Wels stepped out of the portal, and into the last place he was in the kingdom. So many memories, not all pleasant, but not all terrible either. He looked around the leftovers of EX's old home, sighing as he walked over to a countertop EX had built from stolen wood and dragged a hand along the surface. Why do they want EX so badly, when X is the one who would've had control over the kingdom?

No time for questions, he slid off his armour and shoved it into his backpack. He pulled his shoulder length hair into a low ponytail at the back of his head and tugged on his gloves, then wrapped a bandanna to cover anything under his nose.

He ducked out of the alley, glancing around before he rushed to a few shops, swiping everything he could and leaving the money he had, which wasn't much. "Er- sir-? You didn't pay enough."

Wels internally panicked, his pockets were dry, and he wasn't about to resort to begging. He gave a quick glance to the shop keeper, shoved the food into his bag, and bolted in the direction of EX's alleyway. The shop keeper shouted, "THIEF! THIEF!"

Wels threw himself into an alley near EX's old one and hid behind the piles of street garbage, listening to two men in heavy armour trot past. Once he assumed they were gone, he slipped himself out of the alley and walked to EX's, freezing when he saw someone familiar infront of it. "Wels."

A shiver ran down his spine as the man spoke, his deep voice making Wels straighten his posture. "You've been missing for quite some time. Care to explain yourself?"

"M-master Rowan I-" Wels gulped, fumbling his mind for a way to bend his words to sound positive, however nothing came up. He couldn't lie, it went against the knights code. He bowed towards the older knight, "I-I was so caught up in childish shenanigans that I abandoned my training. My deepest apologies, master."

"Do you know what you being here means?" The knight infront of him hissed, "do you know what you caused on all the knights? Do you know how they felt, not knowing if you were safe?"

"I- Master Rowan I needed-"

"Wels, you know what this means, correct?" Rowan plodded to be a mere meter away from Wels, peering down at him. Wels' breath hitched in his throat as he looked up to him, unsure of how much more he could take. "This will not end well, I hope you know that."

Wels nodded, his eyes moving to look at the more interesting rubble by his feet. Rowan's feet moved, walking behind Wels. "Wels, come along now."

"M-master, I-" Wels gulped down his irrational fears and went back to standing straight up, only slightly tilting his head to look at the knight behind him, "it is in the knights code to act against injustice. I cannot go with you."

"What injustices?" Rowan's words dripped with poison as he turned on his heels to face Wels.

"There are many. One being how EX is being treated. Another being the child abuse and labour currently happening, both of which you are blind to, master. I cannot allow such terrible light to shine upon knights."

"Blind? No child in this heaven is abused or enslaved, you speak nonsense. You're well out of line."

"Then why did the group of kids run away if they weren't tired of being abused or if they weren't tired of being used? Some of them were forced to work for no pay, and whipped. You are only blind because of the benifits to you, considering how much filthy money you have in your pockets." Wels ever so slightly raised his voice, a growl coming after.

"They are idiotic children, such as you. Why must you believe such lies and slander on the knights? Come along, Wels."

"Master, you are breaking many rules of the knights code, yet you claim you're a saint, why is this?"

"This speech plays a part in the discipline. I am merely speaking the truth. Children are idiotic beings, such as animals and peasants."

"You are assuming things with idiotic blissful ignorance. You, master Rowan, are a halfwitted cretin."
