Both of them looked at Virgil with confused expressions.
"You both have met humans, haven't you." They both stared, wide-eyed.
"How did you know..?" Janus thought he was good at keeping secrets.... maybe it was Roman's fault.
"Neither of you flinched at the human.. You've obviously had to meet nice ones who've picked you up before, which is why when I told you he was my friend, you trusted him, allowing him to pick you up without a struggle. Not to mention the look you shared in would you rather when I mention living with a human."
Janus stared at him with a somewhat guilty look on his face, probably for getting caught with secrets again. Roman looked at him in awe though.
"Dang, Janus! You've got an observant friend." Janus rolled his eyes, it wasn't to hard to realize but he didn't want to scold Roman again.
"Yeah, he's always so anxious, he seems to pick up on just about everything."

They spent the rest of the day talking but because of this, the humans came back in before Virgil could head back to the drawer. He hoped he wouldn't worry Logan to much.

He didn't, Logan noticed he wasn't in the drawer but he believed Virgil was strong and could handle himself. He wouldn't leave without him obviously but it'd be fine. Plus, it was likely he was just with the other two tinys.

Roman and Janus went over to the hole but Virgil stood there, unsure of what to do. Janus came up behind him.
"You wanna come with me and Roman tonight?"  Virgil smiled back at him. He was thankful to have seen his friend again after so long, and now he had gotten to hang out with him all day. That was enough to wash away his anxiety for a while.

The next day the human's started packing up. Virgil was still sleeping but woke up to being scooped up. When he looked up though, it wasn't Logan, he saw one of the friends staring down at him. He began trembling and he looked over to Janus and Roman. They looked guilty, probably feeling bad for not waking Virgil up sooner. The human was still staring down at him with wide eyes. He knew this human was nice to Janus and Roman but he couldn't help feeling like he was in danger. How would he get away and get to Logan?? Without thinking he called out,
"Logan!" It sounded like a plea which made him feel a bit guilty as he heard the human gasp. He watched them turn their head to look at Logan. Logan turned around swiftly, a worried look on his face, and sighed.
"I see you've found Virgil.." He walked over and took him out of the other humans hands, Virgil was still shaking, he leaned into Logan's fingers. He hated being held by the other human...
"You.. also have people like Virgil." Virgil looked up at Logan who was staring down at Roman and Janus.
"Uh.. yeah..." The human who scooped him up looked a bit guilty as if it was a bad thing to try and keep them secret, even though Logan had tried the same thing. Another human came over.
"Oh cool! We've all found tiny people!" The new human leaned down to get a closer look at him. Virgil backed up a bit and the human backed away again.
"Let's all go home. We can talk a bit more after we've unpacked." The other two agreed and they all headed out.

On the ride home with Janus and Roman, they had been talking about what they did when the humans had left. They didn't mention the sprained ankle or Logan though, just how they'd met Virgil and talked about how he was Janus' old friend. Patton listened, giving his full attention the whole time, "Guess you could say it's a small world, huh?"
(Bad pun, I'm sorry, doesn't even sound like a pun unless I point it out.. ;-;)

On Virgil's ride home he was just sitting in the cup holder. He thought about everything leading up to now. He couldn't believe he'd met Janus again.
"So, how was your time during the camping trip?" Logan cut through the silence, and Virgil's thoughts.
"Oh it was rather fun, I'm glad I went, I got to reconnect with a friend.."
"Oh, do you know if the bandaid was able to help your friend? I didn't have much I could use to help."
"Yeah! It helped stabilize their ankle and they seemed to be better." Virgil wondered if the other humans had noticed Roman's ankle at all. He fidgeted around. He felt bad for not trusting Logan's friends...

(I kinda sorta hate this chapter but I don't wanna rewrite it or something so... I've gotta post it anyway for the story to continue O-o
-even though it's almost over-)
