A Tiny Tale: Part fifteen: Camping

          It was finally the day that they'd all go camping. Patton was really excited. He loved camping, mostly because he got to make s'mores with friends but it was also cause of all the fun. He was a little nervous for Janus and Roman though. He really hoped nothing bad would happen to them, but he would've felt bad leaving them here with the dog and no help. Plus, Roman seemed really excited.

          Remus walked into Patton laying on the couch thinking, he noticed Janus was asleep on his chest. He found that absolutely adorable. He was so happy he had gotten to meet Roman and Janus.
"Hi Pat! I see Janus is sleeping.. are you guys packed? We'll be leaving soon.."
"Yup! I'm all packed but Janus is just bringing his needle and hook."
"That's good, and Romans only bring a thumb tack.. so should we get them and head out now?" Patton looked at Janus, then at the time.
"Yeah probably..." He said, gently scooping Janus up, trying not to wake him. It didn't work though and Janus sat up, drowsily.
"Hm..? What's going on?"
"We're just getting ready to head out go camping." Patton replied, setting Janus on his head. All he got in response was a small hum from Janus. Remus smiled as he watched Janus lay on Pat's head. The two trusted each other a lot.

          Remus then headed to the other side of the house to find Roman. He found him sitting on a window sill, looking out at all the cars. After he entered, Roman looked up towards the human. Remus bet he would've sat there all day if he hadn't come in.
"Hey uh, we're about to go head of to the camp now." He held his hand out and Roman got on-top of it.
"Then let's go!" He said, pointing off towards the door, holding his 'sword.' He looked like a tiny prince, which made Remus laugh a bit.

          Virgil sat on the table waiting by the door. Logan was going through his suitcase making sure he had everything then he came out. Virgil caught his eye.
"Got everything?"
"Yes, I have everything I'll need.. are you bring anything Virgil?"
"Just my hook, safety pin, and pouch.." he pointed at everything as he listed off the items. With that, Logan scooped him up and they got in the car.

          Once they got there, Virgil was hiding in Logan's pocket. According to him, Virgil wasn't noticeable. He doubted that but he also doubted someone would question Logan as to what he had in his pocket, plus most people should be looking at his face.

          Roman and Janus were both hiding in one of Patton's bags, he had a few. They were in the smallest one, in the inside pocket. They had heard Patton repeat it to himself quite a few times, scared he'd lose them.

          They all met up in front of an oddly shaped tree. That was their land mark every year. Then they headed of towards Logan's cabin. His family had one and he often used it for camping trips with his friends.

          Once they got there they went to set up and put away the stuff they'd brought. Patton set Roman and Janus down under the bed. Janus had reassured Patton before all this that he would find Roman and him some little nook hidden away to stay in.
           Logan on the other hand took out the cloth he'd given Virgil when he first found him and set him with that in the drawer of the little wooden dresser beside his bed.

          After they'd all settled down Remus offered they head outside and collect stuff for a campfire later. They all agreed, leaving the tiny ones to explore a bit. Virgil peaked his head out over the drawer then sat atop the dresser after realizing they left. He looked around, and assumed he was by himself. That's why he got so startled when he heard a thud from across the room. He tried to look and see what it was. He couldn't see anything but he could've sworn he heard someone.

Virgil couldn't sit there and do nothing, hearing the voices bugged him, he thought he'd been alone and he needed to know where the voices were coming from. He grabbed his hook and slid down to the floor. He grabbed it all up again before heading over to the bed. As he got closer he heard two people.

"...really hurts.. But I'm fine!"
"Are you sure?? I told you not to try and climb the bed without a hook!" Virgil's eyes went wide. He recognized the second voice.

"J-Janus??" He called out.
