Patton had been nervous at first but now he could hear Roman and the others quite a bit away. It sounded like they were doing a show but in real life. He smiled every time Virgil would react to what was happening in the show, it was good to see Virgil seem happy. At one point, a character had died and Virgil gasped and muttered something along the lines of, "Why would they kill her?! God." Patton was pretty upset that she'd died but at least Virgil was opening up to some emotions.. He seemed to try and push them out when he was at the pet store, it was probably because he was under a lot of stress... Patton turned back towards the noise and smiled as he heard Roman again. He couldn't see it but it sounded like a fun show. He almost fell over when there was a loud bang and Virgil laughed a bit.
"That was just a staged noise, nothing happened, don't worry." Patton smiled. Virgil had actually laughed.

After one of the characters stopped talking, a lot of people started clapping. Patton flinched back and Virgil put his arm around his shoulder.
"They're just applauding the performers for the show, it is kinda loud though, but you're fine." Patton nodded. After a moment there was a bit more talking and then it was a bit more quiet but the audience out there seemed to be talking now.

After a minute he heard people start to come back stage. He gasped at the footsteps and noises. He tried to back up but winced a bit as he pushed his leg against the floor. It didn't hurt as much as it used to though, which was good, but it shot pain up his leg, which was bad. Virgil came over and settled him down a bit.
"Hey, hey, it's ok... don't put anymore pressure on your foot, alright?" Patton nodded. He listened as a bunch of them were talking but with them all speaking, the words were drowned out. Patton tensed up as he heard footsteps pass by them and Virgil gave him a hesitant hug. It helped... until it didn't... Patton tensed up and fell backwards as the back pack was picked up. Virgil caught him and helped him sit back up.
"Yo, Roman, don't forget your backpack this time." The backpack shook a bit more and then it was shoved against something. Patton tried not to tremble and they heard as the other footsteps left. Then they were moved a bit again.
"Sorry about that guys..." Patton felt relief wash over him as he heard Roman's voice. "One more moment and we'll be able to leave, I just need to put a few more things away..." The backpack was set down and Patton almost fell backwards again but Virgil caught him.
"You ok Pat?" He nodded and tried to calm down.
"Y-yeah.. I was just startled..." Virgil gave a small smile and then stood up. He walked over to the zipper and he looked out, then turned back to Patton.
"Roman is coming over and he's probably going to pick the backpack up so um... just prepare for that..." He sat next to Patton and a few second later the backpack was lifted up. Patton tensed up till he heard Roman again.
"Most everyone is still here, including the costumers, so would you guys rather stay hidden in there till we get to the car?" Roman opened the backpack as he looked down to the two and Patton nodded. He sent a quick smile then looked up.
"Oh! Hi, Mrs.Stewart!" Patton felt the backpack sway once again and then he assumed it was against Roman's chest. He heard Roman talking to 'Mrs.Stewart' but he didn't really pay any attention. He just looked over to Virgil.

The two tinys sat, trying not to make much noise, while Roman finished talking. Patton heard the other person's foot steps leave and then Roman zipped the backpack up, though it was only half way.  The backpack swayed again then Roman began to walk away. Patton cowered as a door opened and a wave of talking hit. Virgil wrapped his arm around Patton's shoulders again. He hated the loud noises, not only did they scare him but it reminded him of the pet store. After a while there was another opening and closing of a door and the talking ceased. Patton sighed and he relaxed again.

Roman walked out of the theater and walked to the car. He carefully took the backpack off and gently set it in the passenger seat. He unzipped it and sat in the driver's seat and watched Virgil stick his head out then helped Patton over. Roman set his hand out and they climbed on. He picked the two up and set them in the cup holder.
"Sorry about backstage.. like, all of that, it was probably really loud.." Patton smiled up at him.
"It was fine! Thanks for letting us come with!" Virgil shook his head at Patton's excitement.
"I don't want to go there again.. ever..." Roman laughed a bit as he started the car.
"I doubted either of you would want to come back."
