Raven's POV

My whole family is present at the dining table for lunch. My mother is at father's left side and beside her is Rebecca while I am on father's right side.

Well, Richard is in his room after being fed by his nanny.

''By tomorrow the Count of Burke will be here as our guest. Along with his son'' father made an announcement

''We better make them feel comfortable during their stay'' mother said

''Rebecca, you should accompany the Count's son along with Raven. I hear that you're similar in age'' mother added

''I hope that you'll show how the Rosevelt Manor is'' father said

''Understood'' Rebecca said as she continued to eat

''Don't worry mother. I think the Count's son will be entertained during his stay'' I said

The next day came and the sun is already up

I changed into formal clothes and ate breakfast.

''Young master, the guests from Burke are here'' Sherry, my maid informed me of the Count's arrival.

All of the family went to greet the Count and exchanged our greetings.

''It is nice to finally be here in the capital Duke Rosevelt'' the count greeted my father

''Hello, I am Henry Burke. I am 13 this year'' the count's son introduced himself.

He had dark blue hair like his father, but has dark eyes opposite to his father's bright yellow eyes.

''I am Rebecca Rosevelt. It is a pleasure meeting you. I am going to be fourteen by the next month '' my sister said with a straight face

''I am also pleased to meet you. I am Raven Rosevelt. I just turned 12''

''I hope that you'll be comfortable during your stay here in the Rosevelt Dukedom for the next few days'' my mom said with a bright smile

''The maids shall bring your stuff to the guestroom. Henry, you may go outside the garden while waiting. The children will accompany you'' father said

''Thank you Duke'' Henrg said

Father went to discussed some things with the count along with mother, leaving the three of us alone.

''Let's go to the garden. I'll show you some of the flowers we personally grew'' I said to Henry

''Go by yourselves. I am busy'' Rebecca said as she left the two of us by ourselves

Nothing really stops her stubbornness

''Well, looks lime it is just you and me'' Henry said with a smile

His smiles gives me shivers for some reason. As if he was looking every part of me.

We went the the Rose bushes that was formed as a maze, it was mostly known as the famous Rose Maze of the Dukedom.

''Woah, the roses here looks so pretty'' Henry exclaimed

''Yeah, but it is not as pretty as the flowers at my cousin's residence'' I replied

''By your cousin's residence, you must mean the Bronze Dukedom'' he said

''Yes, with the help of their earth magic it made the flowers ten times prettier than how it originally looks'' I said

Henry smiled at me and held my hand

''Let's go to the fountain over there'' he said as he led the way

I soon brushed him off, because I felt uncomfortable.

''Oh, sorry if I got too close'' Henry said with an apologetic look

''I don't mind. It's just that I am not really used to being held and dragged around'' I said as an excuse

''Can you still consider me as a friend'' Henry said with his smile slowly coming back

''It's alright'' I said though I am still not comfortable around him. His presence made me uneasy.

''Thanks'' he said as he hugged me

I pushed him away but not to harsh, so I wouldn't hurt his feelings

''Let's go back to the mansion. The maids must already taken care of your stuff'' I said as we went back

I led the way and Henry followed.

Though I am not comfortable, I am glad Henry is happy and all smiles.

We arrived in front of his room and he went inside.

I went back to my room as I was already exhausted.

Today was tiring. Henry is full of enery.

I wonder if he is also drained.

Well, let's stop thinking about him. I admit he's too comfortable that it makes me uncomfortable.

Is he gay? I mean, after all those advances? he didn't even looked or asked for Rebecca.

I need to man up and erase those thoughts. Remember, before you are Raven you are a man.

I'm too tired to do anything. I think I'll just take a short nap before dinner.
