Raven's POV

I don't know what the first prince is  planning,  but I will put all my trust in him.

Claude and my sister returned to the ball room, while I waited for them along with Claude's men in a connected room to the lounge which is meant for the servants to come inside.

The doors suddenly opened and I thought it was Claude, but I  was wrong. 

A man with a cloak went inside and all of us were alarmed and didn't know what to do. Suddenly, the man took off his robe and revealed himself. It was actually the king! The King actually went inside a servant's room.

"Greetings to the emperor's sun. Glory to our motherland, to the empire!" All of us knelled as we greeted the king

"All of you may rise. I cam here to do my eldest a favor. He said that a good show is about to start for me to see" he said as he sat on the nearest  chair.

We waited for a few minute and Claude finally arrived with Rebecca.

All of us were silent and the King watched the both of them.

Claude's POV

We went inside the room and we were on our feet.

"When will they ever come?" Rebecca asked with a nervous tone. Both of us were nervous. I even invited father to come with us and go in hiding. I hope they come or I will be screwed.

"I am sure that they will" I said even though I am also nervous. I mean, this is our only chance to expose them of their evil doings.

A few moments later, the door opened showing Edward along with his fiancé. He was holding a sword and instantly pointed it at me.

"Why are you doing this?" Rebecca shouted at him with anger

"It's all your fault! If you didn't cancel the engagement, I would still be in the academy. The throne would've been mine with no issues!" he shouted like a madman

"It is yours to blame, for you are the one that cheated on her!" I defended Rebecca from my selfish half-brother

"Isn't it funny to see the both of them in our hands" Adelaide said as she laughed evilly 

"Why are you agreeing with him? You will pay for this!"  Rebecca asked her the reason for Adelaide's actions

Adelaide went near her and I instantly moved towards her, but I couldn't since Edward suddenly pushed his blade towards my neck. It poked my neck and blood can be seen dripping from my neck.

"Don't go if you don't want your head to be flying off" Edward warned me as he said with a psychotic smile on his face

I stood still and let Adelaide near her. I need father to see what they plan and all their evil deeds.

Rebecca's POV

Adelaide went towards my direction and looked at me in the eye.

"You know what? You were so annoying ever since the moment we met" she said

"And what does that got to do with you killing me?" I asked her

"You were crown princes, and I envied your position. I thought that I was more deserving, more beautiful, and smarter than you are. I begged my father to get me that position, but you stole it from me!" Adelaide shouted at me as she suddenly grabbed my throat and started to put strength on her grip.

"I don't want anyone on my path on becoming an empress. Therefore, I should get rid of every obstacle that stands in my way!" she shouted and I was slowly going to lose consciousness

Raven's POV

How dare that bitch strangle my sister!

I couldn't take it anymore and was about to open the door, but the emperor was the first one to open it.

The emperor went of of the room and all of us followed him out. I could see the shocked look on both Edward's and Adelaide's face. They were scared and nervous. They didn't think that the emperor would actually appear from the connecting room and witness all of the events that happened.

Adelaide stopped and so did Edward. Claude immediately went to my sister who was half awake.

Edward's POV

The door from the connecting room suddenly opened and I couldn't believe who I am seeing at the moment. It was actually my father. He witness all of it. No! This can't be!

"Father.. I-I can explain.." I said to him looking for an excuse to come up with

I looked at Adelaide and this bitch isn't doing anything. She was scared and she couldn't stop shaking from fear.

Ugh, this useless woman. If you did it with me, you need to come up with an excuse. Help me too, you know or else both of us are screwed.

"Silence!" the emperor shouted and the room fell silent

"You are to be stripped from your title and hanged by tomorrow! You are a disgrace to the royal family!" 

"You! Daughter of Duke Lidius, is also to be stripped from your noble title and will be exiled from the empire!" 

What? I will be beheaded? How ridiculous, No!

"Seize them!" father said as Claude's knights apprehended the both of us and is about to be sent to prison

"Please father, I admit that I made this one mistake. Please forgive me this once!" I begged him one last time. He wouldn't actually behead me right? I am his son, my mother won't stand still for this!

I begged, but he didn't bat an eye
